"I bought a i7, Nvidia 1080, 64GB RAM machine from Adamant in 2016, and it was a beast. My first real gaming PC. I was super happy with the purchase. For a long time it ran everything in Ultra graphics, and never let me down. In 2022, it started overheating a lot, and the GPU was out of date, I just got a bonus at work, so I figured I would get a new system. I was so pleased with how much I had gotten out of the old system that I went right back to Adamant's website and selected a new one. Didn't shop around at all. Looking back, I wish I had just purchased the components myself, and taken a crack at building one.
I bought a machine with a 10900x chip, Gigabyte x299x Auros Master motherboard, Nvidia GeForce 3080Ti 12 GB GPU, 64GB RAM, and a Corsair 5000D Tempered Glass case.
On the site, they are pretty vague about exactly what components you are adding when you select them. They don't give model numbers so you can't look up the components and compare. For example, I wanted three fans in the front (to combat the overheating I previously experienced). The fans they put in are the cheapest possible, and they only put in one (I selected 3, but two come with the Corsiar 5000D case so maybe there was some confusion?). When I complained, they sent me 3 fans in the mail, but they are cheap 3-pin fans that literally cost $4.99 on Corsair's website. I paid an extra $50 for three case fans that are worth $5 each, uninstalled. I just threw them away.
I selected an Nvidia RTX 3080Ti 12 GB card. What I got was an EVGA card. EVGA is pretty good, but not as good as Nvidia-made ones in my opinion ( I like the look of Nvidia cards). At that price point, one should get the component you select, and if its not available, they should contact you. Instead they just installed what they considered to be equivalent. As is, the GPU is at 70C as I write this, with nothing else running, probably because of the crappy case fans. Not good enough at all, considering the money I spent on this rig.
The CPU cooler just said Quiet Edition, but they sell the Corsair H110 "Quiet Edition" on the site - an older model but a good one, so I was okay with that. I even went to the Corsair subreddit, and asked around. I got positive responses, and was good with a cooler that came out like 8 years ago. I don't need RGB or fanciness so its fine. Adamant gave me something else, that they don't sell on the site, and the fans are SO loud. If they don't sell it, I wonder where it came from?
I decided to just drop a few extra bucks and replace all the cheap and loud fans (and add more) with quiet Noctua ones, so I bought nine of them them on Amazon - three for the front, three for the side, two for the CPU cooler and one exhaust. Then I discovered that when building the PC, they did not (re)attach the motherboard cable cover, the side fan tray, or the rear compartment cover before shipping it to me. I had not had a reason to open that side of the case yet. When I complained, they sent me the side fan tray (which is what I really needed, since I had just bought fans to mount on the side), but have yet to send me the cable cover (which I don't really need) or the rear compartment cover, which would be nice to have. They also did not seem super apologetic when I made contact, just annoyed. No offer of any refund or attempt to make this right. What are they doing with these parts? Now I have to install this stuff, which is what I was paying THEM to do.
Because of the quality of my first experience, I am not giving one star, but I am really not happy with my second one - I dropped a lot of cash on this, and I did not get what I was supposed to get. Plus, now, I am dropping even more to replace the super cheap fans and get that EVGA GPU cooled down.
I am left very disappointed with Adamant computers. I feel like they think their customers are ignorant, and won't notice when they are given less than they paid for. I dropped $4k on this rig, and I feel ripped off. Buyer beware. "
"I purchased a custom built PC from Adamant about a month ago. After a few weeks, one of the computer parts turned out to be defective (which can be normal). Interacting with their customer service was great - they are responsive, honored the warranty, and covered the all the shipping expenses related to servicing the computer.
Their customer service response to resolve the issues demonstrated their commitment to deliver a good product. No more incidents have occured after the defective part was replaced and I'm very happy with the computer's performance so far.

"I actually wrote to Adamant asking where I could rate them since they exceeded my expectations with a great build at a great price. They were able to build and test the system for what it would have cost me for just the components alone. I wanted a system capable of some pretty serious video editing.
