"I have had difficulties in placing on line orders recently. Placing items in the shopping cart is sometimes a challenge when ordering from some of the sales emails. When I place one item in the cart and want to select additional items I often can't go directly back to the page I'm ordering from. And sometimes when I get back to the site, the first item is no longer in the cart. Then when I go to finalize my order, it won't let proceed without entering a mobile phone number. You already have a phone number (land line) for me and I do not give out my cell phone number. I have ordered for years from Acme without having to provide a second phone number. IT should make sure that final step to place an order goes on easily. The last time I called customer service for help on this problem, I got no help. Basically I was told to try changing browsers or redoing the order - basically that is a waste of my time. On a previous order I was so frustrated with this, I bought the item on Amazon - nice and easy."
"I gave 3 stars as my generator has not shipped yet so I can only share the on line order process. First off, you might hold off sending customers review requests until receipt of order. The order process was seamless and easy. There was plenty of information on each model that allowed me to make my decision. An update will be posted after I have received the gen set and have run it for the 5 hour breakin period."

"Acme has great products, I love seeing new things in their catalogs and emails, but their web ordering system is really bad. For example, I placed an order 2 days ago. When doing so, I changed from the default shipping address to another address, then changed the credit card information. When I changed the credit card information, it must have changed the shipping address back to the default. I didn't know this until an order confirmation came a couple hours (not minutes) later. There's no option to edit the order, and the order status is pretty ambiguous. I "think" it's telling me my item shipped the same day it was ordered, but it didn't show any status until two days after (today). Past orders show as well, but not with enough detail to let you re-order.
I'd love to see Acme update their buying experience; there are a lot of good options out there."
