"This company was great! Ordered bunch of equipment - AV receiver, projector and a screen. Spoke to customer service rep, who was very knowledgeable, and had helped me with putting a system together. So we discussed the specs of my JVC projector an which screen would it work best with. Placed the order on March 5th (around $8000) and got everything in within a week - All Brand New and Factory sealed as promised. Very happy with their service and will definitely do business with them in the future!"

"Bought Mitsubishi WD-73838 for $1,635, the AVinDemand website says their drivers let you inspect the TV but the delivery guy shoved the form in my face to sign before I could open the box. I was unable to immediately hook it up to a source to display a blank white background and unless you can do that in the 5 minutes or less the driver waits there it's otherwise impossible to see screen flaws. Unless the delivery guy waits for you to hook it up to your cable or something with white background and inspect the screen before signing you won't be able to refuse the delivery and like I said the guy made me sign before I even got it out of the box and left before I even plugged it in and turned it on so there was no way way for me to see the picture defects until it was too late to refuse and have him take it back so their claim of drivers waiting while you inspect is useless unless you adamantly refuse to sign until you are allowed to hook it up and examine it with a white background which I doubt the in a hurry, pushy delivery guys would ever allow. Why was he in such a hurry to have me sign before inspection? My guess is they are instructed to do so because according to the form, once you sign all deals are final, and of course they know that releases them from any legal damage claims. The delivery guy was very rough yanking it off the truck and actually banged it against my wall carry it in and didn't even apologize, and yes you do get the blame Dave because these are the delivery guys that your website claims are so good about patiently waiting while customers inspect their new TVs, so don't make claims like that and then claim you shouldn't be held responsible for the delivery drivers. What if it hadn't even turned on? That would be my problem and I would have to call repairmen while it's under warranty. Repairmen are reluctant to do anything. After the driver left I hooked it up, turned it on and immediately noticed a bunch of spots and smudges then I applied a blank white background image on my PS3 and also saw 2 circular stains like coffee cup rings at the top of the projection screen underneath the plastic outer screen so there's no way to clean it, none of the screen flaws are visible on the test picture. Since AVinDemand has a strict "no return policy" on any TV. I bought from AvInDemand instead of elsewhere because of all their 4 and 5 star ratings,but because my TV is less than perfect and because of their no return or exchange policy on TVs over 26 inches I can't recommend purchasing one from them. I was stuck calling local authorized Mitsubishi repairmen all month. The screen is only warranted for 30 days. The first guy from ColorTronics came out took a look and said it wasn't bad enough to warrant any warranted repair but I'm sure he billed Mitsubishi for a service call and he did say I could get a new screen for about $500 and $200 labor, it seems TV repairman make money by not repairing TVs, I wonder how much manufacturers pay their authorized service centers annually to deny warranty claims? Promptly called another service center and told them that story and they agreed to a order new screen. After waiting 2 weeks for its arrival they told me Mitsubishi refuses to send the screen replacement until they see pictures of it. The next repairman saw the smudges and opened the side panel and rubbed the screen inside and was able to clear up most of the smudges except for the 2 rings at the top which he said looked like stains, they aren't really visible at a distance so I'm not that upset about it. He took 2 photos of those spots (Close up photos taken from even a high res camera of small areas on a pure white background don't show up well at all) and said he'd let me know what Mitsubishi says, I still haven't heard back from him. The warranty states that screens are warranted to be 99.99 percent pixel perfect but if they don't show up in photos sent to Mitsubishi for review then it doesn't matter how apparent they are to me and repairmen. Fortunately most of the smudges did come off and I'm just tired of calling people and servicemen so I'm alright with things now since the remaining spots are only visible close up. Other than that the TV is great Dave at AVinDemand called me and offered to help, a few days after reading my "harsh" as he called it review, he acted upset that I hadn't contacted him about this on the voice-mail but since AvInDemand's return policy strictly forbids refunds or exchanges on big screen HDTV's, why would I? Dave asked me to return his call but I haven't because I've been busy and I'm tired of the whole thing by now and just want to enjoy my new TV as much as possible, besides the situation is pretty much resolved now and unless he is going to get the whole screen replaced or give me a new set there's not much he can do for me. Sorry, I can't recommend purchasing a big screen HDTV from AvInDemandand that comes with only the manufacturer's warranty that is impossible to get authorized repairs on and needs to be shipped from New Jersey. Also if you change your mind decide to cancel your order anytime, before it's even shipped, you get charged a huge 15% restocking/return fees like $300 on a $1,600 TV plus possibly paying return shipping so if you find a better deal minutes, hours or days later you will automatically lose money for cancelling your order. So take your chances with AvInDemand aka Hi End Solutions, and the shipping company, ICAT Logistics Inc. if you dare."

"No problems whatsoever. They even went out of their way to help me out - the speakers I had ordered through an unaffiliated website were backordered longer than the "30 day money back" time period. AV In Demand was willing to extend the "money back" time to cover the delay."

"Absolutely stellar service. Not only did they have the lowest price I could find (and I spent quite a while searching), but the customer service was excellent. I placed my order for a Samsung HT-D6730W home theater (not a small item by any means) at 10PM on May 3rd with standard ground shipping, received a phone call on May 4th to verify my order due to my shipping and billing addresses being different (nice to know they're watching out for fraud), and I received the product on May 5th! Could not be happier with their service, A+!"

"I bought our family a new A/V Receiver for Christmas to complement a new Sharp 60" TV. This was my first foray into upper end electronics in 30 years. After a ridculous amount of research, I settled on getting Pioneer receiver because it seemed like the best value/feature for the money. What I hadn't planned on was getting a VSX-33. AV In Demand's price was so low, I thought there must be a catch. But there wasn't. I was able to upgrade two models higher than I was planning and the receiver has exceeded my expectations. I ordered on 12/15 and got it on 12/20. My one call to customer service was connected promptly and they answered all of my questions. The first time I turned on the TV and the ARC automatically turned on the receiver, I was delighted. AV In demand is the first place I will look for future audio equipment purchases. "

"This company is AMAZING!!!! I was hesitant at first because i was spending a lot of money online, but i trusted the reviews and decided to order. The email communication could not have been better. I received my product in only 2 business days from NJ to FL. When I received the boxes via UPS, I thought there was a small box missing (there wasn't) It was after their closing hours so I called & left a message and emailed figuring they would get back to me the next morning. I got a phone call back in less than 10 minutes!!! (they then explained to me that the adapter was in the receiver box)

"I purchased a product that listed for 399 on Amazon for 310 on AV in Demand. Also when I purchased it New York was shut down by a snow storm that I was unaware of so I paid for the 3 day shipping to my house in California. The next day UPS emailed me that the package would not be received in 3 days but five days because of the weather. I emailed AV In Demand and was contacted by phone the next day. They explained the weather problem and even though it was not in their control AV In Demand refunded the 3 Day shipping charge and I paid the normal charge. I received the package in 5 days, I was 100 percent satisfied with the product and AV In Demand"

"Over all the experience was great. The product was great, the price was the best I found on the Internet. However there was one thing I did dislike... after creating my account to order from their site they sent my user name and password to my e-mail address... as a IT professional and as a consumer I know that is a huge no no... never send passwords through e-mail... that needs to be done on the website through https at minimum... However despite that one hiccup the over all experience was great. "
