BEWARE before you order!!!!

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience started off positive, as their prices were much better for the item I wanted than I had found elsewhere . Initially they were very responsive... until one of my items arrived damaged.

I spent a total of $2933.00 for two sideboard tables. One of the tables came damaged, with an obvious crack in the paint/sealant right in the front and center of the table. I reached out immediately and sent photos of the damage. I received an email back stating they would let the manufacturer know and would be in contact with me ASAP. After nearly six weeks and several ignored emails and phone calls I finally reached Lisa on the phone. She put me on hold and then informed me that after speaking with Tony, they were willing to give me $100 in credit! ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! She informed me that if I was not happy with this as resolution, I could email Tony, as he is the person who takes care of things of this sort.

I emailed Tony and informed him that a $100 credit is not acceptable, seeing as the item arrived to my house damaged. I received a VERY snarky email back from Tony stating "This item is NOT DAMAGED, there is a hair in the paint." It is very clear that there is, in fact a crack and not a hair in the paint but he was insistent to keep arguing with me. He also gave me the option of "you can pay to have the item shipped back to be swapped out at our warehouse. Can you imagine what that shipping cost would be?!?!

As of the time of this review, over six weeks since receiving my item, I have still not received any resolution.

BEWARE of this company. The "customer service" (if that is what you even call it...) is inadequate, rude and will not work with you to make their wrongs right. They are crooks who do not care about customer satisfaction.

*Edited to add: I filed a complaint with the BBB. AMB was given two weeks to respond to several attempts from the BBB to reach them and they refused so my case was closed. I'm now stuck with this damaged furniture that I paid full price for with zero consequences to the crummy company who refuses to make it right. Tony and his team are CROOKS!!!!!!

Do Not Buy From This Site

Do NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! I paid almost 100.00 for a vanity to be shipped to me only to have received it with broken glass and no help at all from the store. I disputed it with my credit card company and this terrible store wants ME to pay to have it shipped back! The darn thing wasn't even 250 but is going to cost me way more just to get it out of my life. The person who I emailed back and forth with wanted me to take a picture of the broken glass when I let them know that If I even attempt to open the box the little pieces of glass will get everywhere and I have small children. This is a terrible way to do business. Shipping takes forever and the only reason why i even received it is because I opened up a case with PAYPAL. Several thumbs down.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

"Needed assistance buying new furniture for my new home. The ladies in the office asked the right questions to help me find the look I wanted to go with for my new home. I was able to get everything I needed in one place and not having to mix and match the furniture from another company and style. The delivery and assemble was such an ease. They told me about movershelp to get my furniture inside and setup. Since they only do curbside delivery . I will recommend this company to all my friends and family. "

"AMB furniture is one of the worst sites I have ever dealt with! I order from cymax, ebay and walmart and sears online for furniture and appliances usually and this is the first and LAST time I will ever order from AMB's Site. They do not answer the phone line all the time, they have a slow response time to emails, they are not professional as they raised their voice at me when I called about the defective table I purchased. Take my advice, you don't want the headache! They sell items that are defective so I assume they buy refurbished and returned items and sell at a high price. I purchased my table for 1,300 dollars and it was not worth it. They are con artists and there is no way to fight them because they don't solve your issue!! They took 2 months to get my table delivered!"

"We bought a couch from AMB Furniture. After about six or seven months, we noticed some weird marks on a few spots on the couch. It took me another month to locate this company since we bought it through them through Sears. When I finally did get a hold of them, they asked me to send pictures of the marks on the leather part of the couch. I sent them within a day or two and waited over a week before I had to email them and ask if they got my pictures. The man who emailed me back said that they could either send us new parts for free or refund 15% of the original price back to us. I asked for the refund. They emailed back a week later after I had to again get a hold of them. He changed his previous stance on our issue and said that we had purchased the item too long ago. He pretty much changed what he told us previously. I let them know that this was horrible customer service and it doesn't matter what the warranty says; he told me that we would get 15% back for the faulty couch that we spent almost $1,000 dollars on. He emailed back a few days later and wouldn't budge. I emailed him every few days for a week plus after that and have heard nothing back since. I'm wondering what happened to the customer is always right logic and how they could treat a customer who spent A LOT of money so poorly. I will never buy from this company again and would not reccommend anyone else doing so either. If you do, get ready to get hosed over if anything goes wrong. Not satisfied at all!!!"

"DON'T BUY FROM AMB FURNITURE - I ORDERED WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SET OF TWO BARSTOOLS AND AFTER RECEIVING ONE - THEY ARE CLAIMING IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE ONLY - THE SEARCH ENGINE SHOWED A SET OF TWO AND WHEN I WAS DIRECTED TO THEIR WEBSITE IT WASN'T CLEAR SO I INCLUDED IN THE NOTES ON THE ORDER TO MAKE SURE IT WAS TWO - THEY FAILED TO READ THAT AND SHIPPED ANYWAY - NOW I HAVE ONE BARSTOOL THAT I COULD HAVE PURCHASED ELSEWHERE FOR 1/2 THE PRICE AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND THE $27 SHIPPING CHARGES PLUS I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING TO SEND IT BACK AND WHO KNOWS IF THEY WOULD EVEN COMPLETE THE REFUND - THE E-MAIL FROM THEM HAVE BEEN NASTY AND REACHING SOMEONE BY PHONE IS IMPOSSIBLE - ALWAYS GET THEIR VOICEMAIL - I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB WHERE THEY ALREADY HAVE AN F RATING. I WISH I HAD CHECKED THAT BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE. "
