"I purchased the Sony SEL18-200mm LE lens from AC Electronic Limited via Ebay. The lens never had proper functioning of the autofocus, but shipping back to Hong Kong for the "one year warranty" was prohibitively expensive. I instead sent the lens to Sony repair in the US who informed me the internal lens was so corroded it was beyond repair. I NEVER exposed the lens to water or liquid of any kind. Although it had malfunctioned from the beginning (and without ANY water exposure on my end), AC Electronic Limited refused to replace it stating corrosion was not covered under warranty. I'm now out $700 for an unusable lens that had never worked appropriately from day one. "
