"Still have not reciced item, still have not gotten to talk to anyone about my purchase, I have sent 17 Emails and recieved only two replies, the first stating that the item I ordered is not in stock, so I replied with cancel my order, give me my money back. Still have had no reply. Every time I call I get an answering machine and have never gotten a call back."

"The absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Total bait and switch. Paid for my order, only to habe them call me and tell me that it was on backorder, but I could upgrade for an extra $30. If you refuse to upgrade, they simply send you nothing. That was 45 days ago. Now I'm out $192 and they refuse to return my calls and emails, and they rarely answer their phone. They also leave themselves positive feedback on pricewatch, if you look at the times comments were left, all of the positive feedback came within minutes of each other. The only legitimate feedback seems to be the negative ones.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

"EXCELLENT PRICES!!! What else can one say about this company? I was
checking pricewatch and found that they had the best price for a
MBoard, so I decided to get it. When I saw their product list and
started looking at other stuff they had, then checked pricewatch and
noticed that they had the best price on all these things, the buying
frenzy began!!! All in all I ended up getting a mobo, sound card,
GeForce graphics card, NEC DVDRW, coolermaster sink, and 512MB Ram!!
To my delight, ALL these shipped the NEXT DAY! I got them within a few
days, and am now building my new PC. Will definately shop there again.

"The following is an actual email conversation I had with customer support. It began with me posting a request on their website to find out where my drive was, and how long it was going to take to get to me.

"Considering everything I had heard about 24X7PC.com's customer service, I recently placed a large order for everything I needed to build a new computer. Most of the prices were the best I could find, and the ease of ordering from one company far outweighed any discrepancies. The products were shipped by UPS in three packages. One package arrived a day early, the others right on time.Everything was in great shape and the assembly went smoothly. After a few days, I tried to use the Flash drive only to discover it was defective. I contacted 24X7PC and spoke with a customer service rep named Jackie. Considering it would cost about as much to ship the drive back to them as it would to buy a new one, he gave me a refund. He was a pleasure to deal with.

"Waited for a week for drive to arrive and after non-response from e-mail, I placed a call and found that Drive was still not avaiable. But they have a distribution unit (OEM + cables and longer warranty) with $9.99 extra. Basically they are saying: pay more and I will sell you one. We won't sell you at the price you ordered. What a crook! Don't trust them. Don't buy from them."

"They sold a product not in stock when it was said it was in stock. They did not tell me that. They canceled the order without emailing me about it. They said it was canceled because it was back ordered and that my credit card didn't work. I've used the same card before and after the order w/ no problem. I remember when I'd paid my bill online to see the "temporary charge from them on the card (it was charged from me after all). Their service sux. Their phone support is even worst. I never want to here of them again.

Ordered from newegg.com received in 2 days. Should have order from them from the beginning

"this is a shady company that tried to sell me unnecessary add-ons and warranties.

i ordered 5 250gb hitachi s-ata drives from them because they had the lowest prices. when i clicked on the button to check out, i was confronted with a page of accessories, software, extended warranties, express shipping options, etc. with several options automatically checked (i suppose i should have been suspicious at this point). i had to uncheck all of the options and chose the cheapest shipping since i wasn't in a hurry to get the drive.

a couple of days later, i get an email saying that the drive i ordered came only with a 30-day warranty and wouldn't be available for two-weeks, but if i purchased an extended 3-year warranty the drive was available immediately.

well, that made me suspicious since the 30-day warranty didn't sound right, so i checked the hitachi website and even called the hitachi 800 number and spoke to a rep who confirmed that all hitachi drives come with a 3-year warranty.

i emailed 24x7pc several times asking them to explain the difference between their 30-day warranty drive and the 3-year warranty drive, but they never responded to my questions, so i cancelled my order.
