Another typical story of missing shipment. Ordered end of Oct. Left Jamaica NY Nov 8th and POOF gone.

DX sent it registered so some tracking is available but any formal search must be started at senders end per USPS.

Simple problem, no? My order shipped in two packages 2 1/2 weeks apart. Got the second package but not the first.

Opened a DX incident 11/25 got a reply few days later. Had a few support e-mails back and forth.

One of their brilliant messages told me exactly what I told them: "It left Jamaica NY Nov 8th" Then continuing on asked me if "There is anything I can help you with"!

Another message asked what I was missing - I replied again for the third time.

The last message from them admonished me to wait a week or so for the Second package - yep the one that I told them I already had.

I don't think it's inept customer service - I think they're blowing smoke at me while hoping I'll go away or somehow the package will show up.

Not really their fault though it went missing here in the US.

Actually It's only $40 and I'll likely reorder but next time each item will be ordered separately on the theory that a tiny registered package is less inviting to a New York thief than a large registered one which may contain a camera or electronic item. ( I ordered small items)

“Hi Zxcvb,

We apologize to have you wait on the package.

Usually the US packages will arrive at destination within 7 to 10 business days, but for your order, we have no idea why there is no further detail provided since November 8, 2008. We have already started a claim towards HK post regarding the lost package and an follow-up email has just been sent to your PayPal email address, please check it and let us know if you have any other question.

Best Regards,
Tiffany

Book arrived within a week. Got an order confirmation and a ship e-mail notification.

This was an "after Christmas" transaction so delays were not to be expected.

They shipped the wrong item. 36 days later I had the correct part in hand. No reimbursement for my return postage.

This was my 2nd order from them. First order went smooth.

This is a "lost in the mail" PC-Connection $50 rebate issue. 15 weeks since submission.

Dunno what's with these few negatives lately. I've bought stuff from them for years and have been pleased. Sure sometimes returns are slow but they WILL take the goods back without a hassle.

One of the best places for the electronic hobbyist. They have lots of oddball parts etc. I was only disappointed once with poor quality video tapes. Only once or twice were they out of stock on items I ordered. Reasonable ship charges.

I ordered various generic cables and parts. Received good quality stuff. This vendor had the most reasonably priced items that I needed. Shipping was cheap.

Found them via a GOOGLE sponsered link!

Bought a BFG TI4200 video adapter, received a used one. It installed ok. This is my first experience with Woot.

Woot debited my credit card $15 to compensate me for them sending a used instead of new card.

I'll now jack up my opinion of Woot.

Bought a few more items from Woot - complete positive experience.

6in1 card reader received defective, but a replacement was sent quickly and hassle-free.

They did not offer to reimburse me for the return postage of the defective unit. Not a big deal since only a few bucks involved.

All in all, they're pretty good.
