I have ordered many things to dealextreme and I had no problems for a while but the real face of dealextreme is visible only when you run into problems (such us not receiving packages).
Basically you are left without customer service.
Live Chat is a joke (I have waited 30 minutes after giving up), calling them is just a waste of money (when I stated the nature of my call a lady hang up instantly) and the 24-48 hr email reply is just an empty promise. If you are lucky to wait for a backordered item (a frequent occurance) than you will be beyond the 45 days Paypal protection (like myself).
I am practically powerless and the only advice I have for you is this: if you REALLY MUST use dealextreme services, you open a Paypal dispute after 30 days regardless of what dealextreme will feed you (tracking numbers, backorder info or whatever).
Still, is preferable to avoid a company with such a poor customer service.

Worst online shopping experience ever. Worst even than my experience with Chinese websites
Took a week to inform me that the product which was available when I placed the order is not actually available (but they have charged me anyway).
Nobody answering to calls or emails for an entire week.
avoid them at any cost!!!!

I have placed an order with Cabela's Canada over the phone.
The total was clearly communicated to me (after subtracting the value of the gift card) but they have charged me $25 more on my CC because they "forgot" to subtract the gift card.
Lucky me that I've noticed this on my CC statement.
It's like a thief saying sorry when caught.
They have promised to return the money but can I really trust them? You better avoid them.

I bought ICOO E300P MP4 Player and after charging the player once as per manufacturer instructions, I left the player in a drawer for 2 months. When I checked the player, the case and the LCD were broken because the battery expanded. The battery was faulty and I did not caused the problem. Focalprice denied my right to RMA because, in their opinion, I have used the product incorrectly. The whole correspondence was painfully slow.
Another 2 orders never arrived in Canada but Focalprice returned me the money after opening disputes at paypal.
My advice: avoid focalprice at any cost.

My previous review of Focalprice was not favorable because Focalprice refused to issue A RMA for a defective ICOO player.
However, in less than 24 hours from posting the review a focalprice representative contacted me and offered me a credit for the amount I paid for the defective player plus $15 for the inconvenience. I consider that this was a quick and fair solution to my problem. I just regret that this was not possible before writing a review. Anyway it is clear now that focalprice is monitoring resellerratings and they are dedicated to resolve customers' issues.
