I am not happy at all with the service from TigerDirect. I bought a computer which looked like a good deal, as I needed one for my wife. My order went through, the payment was accepted as expected and I was anxious to receive the new computer I was billed hundreds of dollars for. However, later that day, when I checked the status of my order on TigerDirect's website, it said it had been cancelled. I did not receive any email or notification of any kind alerting me to this situation. Also, my credit card was indeed billed, which prevents me from buying another computer at the moment. I hope that this situation can be resolved and I can get the computer for the said price, as the rebate that was applied to it is no longer available. The only other time something similar happened to me was when dealing with another company's India service and they cancelled an order without notice. Let's just say that the other company's reputation did not go up for their bad service.
“I apologise for the negative experience you had with TigerDirect.ca. Regretfully a few items on our website were marked at incorrect prices (often at only 5% of the actual cost) due to human error. We corrected it as soon as possible, but unfortunately some orders did get placed.
We are unable to offer you the gaming computer you ordered at this pricing and have cancelled your order. I do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.”
