I ordered a pair of Flak-Jacket sunglasses on June 29th. According to the website, I should have gotten them in no less that 15 days (they had to build them because they were custom). So after no activity for three weeks in my e-mail or on my account, I called them (July 20th). They said they needed to order the frame and it would come on July 27th...Well that would've have been e-mail worthy I think. That Friday (July 24th) I received a phone call stating that my credit card was declined. I have a $2000 credit limit and I rarely use over $400 dollars on it. The total had come to $298.34 so I had no idea what was going on. I called my credit card company and they said that the reason it was declined was because I was trying to charge around $2700 when I only had $2000 at my disposal. I called Oakley and it turns out they thought I wanted 12 pairs...NOPE! I only wanted ONE. So She changed the order and said she would ship it out right away. I didn't see it come up on my account so I called back the next day to ask about the status. IT STILL SAID 12 PAIRS!! The guy said "That's strange," and gave me a new order. I asked "they're not gonna have to build it again are they?" and he said "yes unfortunately, they are..." I was extremely aggravated at this point because they had wasted 4 weeks of my time without so much as a phone call (except when they wanted to be paid). I asked him to talk to his manager and they agreed to give me free etching and free shipping. I don't think that evens it out but what can you do? I will never buy from Oakley again. This was Oakley Canada by the way.
