Toshiba Laptop Battery Defective; loses charge quickly and near 'low battery Setting' Crashes computer; Windows Error Recovery Screen appears after I use Power Button to ReStart computer. I've Emailed them twice; no response, however, it could be that I replied to an automated survey Email address. Unfortunately, I removeded a sticky label from battery when installing, as it was in the way of installation. Later, I noticed on the sticky label in very small italic print: "If removed warranty is void." I then placed the sticky label on the plastic Battery sleeve that it came in and called Kahlon. Representative, told Me to remove it from sleeve, and Replace it back on the Battery. So I did. However, Not Good as some of sticky label remained on Sleeve and what Changed on Label read: Void Void Void. I am at fault for not reading the sticky label; however, I believe that the 'Warning' should have been more Noticeable. Perhaps, yellow highlighted, or even in Red font, which then, would have definitely caught My eye. In addition, Kahlon should know it's there battery - as a Bar Code Label is affixed on Battery Front facing Me. But since I did not receive a response to either of My Emails, I have accepted the fact that I have completely lost the Cost of this Battery. But this time, I'll order a Battery from a more reputable Company. UPDATE: I WAS IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED BY, ANTHONY, OF KAHLON, AND WE ARE WORKING ON RESOLVING THE ISSUE.
FINAL UPDATE: ANTHONY ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT I UPDATE MY BIOS; HOWEVER, I DIDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING SO. ANTHONY THEN OFFERED FULL REFUND (No Restocking Fee) UPON RECEIPT OF DEFECTIVE BATTERY. I JUST CHECKED MY CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION HISTORY, AND KAHLON COME THROUGH, WITH FULL COST OF BATTERY CREDIT APPLIED! DESPITE THE INCONVENIENCE, I STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAHLON, AS THEY'LL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND, TO RESOLVE A CUSTOMER PROBLEM.
