About a year ago, I placed an order with this internet jewelry company. They totally botched up the order, and merchandise. It was obviously defective, but shipped anyway. When I called to complain, they remembered the order and said that they were hoping I liked it anyway. Bottom line, they made good on that order.
Now a year later, I figured I would give them another chance. I ordered two rings. The order was placed on the internet after I spoke to their sales guy for about 15 minutes.
The day that the order was to arrive (location of seller was 15 miles from my home in adjacent state), I received nothing. I called asking for a tracking number only to be told that the order was not shipped and that the previous salesman had "lied" to me about availibility. The two items were in stock and would be shipped that day, with me receiving the merchandise the next day. The next day nothing, so I called and e-mailed. The call was dropped, but then I received a tracking number from UPS stating that the seller had provided the information as the package was ready and to be picked up. The tracking number was false as the items were not shipped.
The next day nothing. I called to cancel the order. The salesman told me I could not as the order was shipped earlier that day. I stated I would refuse shipment. 2 hours later I received a phone call asking if I still wanted the items as they had not shipped yet.
Due to time constraints and having lost a week dealing with these fools, I decided to take a chance and told them to ship. A different shipping number was then provided. The next day I had the merchandise. The merchandise was not defective this time so I kept it.
I will never use these fools again!!!
“First, I searched every customer in our database for the name "wynman," and then searched every transaction I then found. None includes a Sekonic meter. If this individual has a transaction #, I can be reached at henryp@bhphotovideo.com.
Second, the allegation that we sell anything in our new store which is not new is unsupportable. Any retailer with a return policy has to deal with returned items. Those in ABSOLUTELY as-new condition are reshelved, just as any other retailer would do. A returned item not in as-new condition is either returned to the customer, sent to our used department or sold as an open-box demo, depending on circumstances.
