I've been following Woot! for about 7 years, and have bought several items from them. Aside from very slow shipping, I haven't had a problem until recently. I purchased an item at a fair price of $99 during a "Woot-off!" Well, three weeks later, they are selling the item for only $73 dollars...almost a 30% DIFFERENCE!!! I can see maybe a five or ten dollar difference, but almost a third of the price is an extreme.

So, I sent an extremely polite and humorous email to customer service, expressing my dismay and asking for a $27 credit - either store credit or refund. My prompt reply had something to do with ordering multiple items, which immediately made it clear that they did not even bother to read my message, let alone understand my issue.

So, I sent another very polite, but much simpler email, outlining my issue and again asking for a credit. This one also got a prompt reply, which consisted of one sentence stating they do not have a price guarantee.

It would take 60 seconds to arrange for a store credit, keep a customer happy, and do the right thing. So, I sent a third email, also staying very professional, but criticizing their lack of customer service. Guess what...no response...because they have no defense for such poor business practices.
