Ordered a Western Digital Harddrive at a fixed price. Had two credit cards listed with them and before I could designate which card I wanted billed they had chosen one. I sent customer service an e-mail indicating that I wanted to have a the card billed and received an e-mail that I would be contacted '...becuase we consider you a valued customer.' When I received notice the item was shipped I called UBid customer service and was placed on hold fo 90 minutes before a representative was available. The rep took all of 90 sec to tell me that she couldn't help me and that I would have to talk with the people in credit. The rep in credit essentailly told me that I was shit out of luck and that UBid could bill any card they wanted and they were not into changing billing options. I am currently in the process of contesting the charge and shipping the item back to the company. If you are comfortable being dealt with by sullen employees, not receiving customer service, and waisting a lot of time than UBid may be the appropriate group to do business with. Personally, they have seen the last of me.

We generally try to work with customers to make changes up and until the shipping process, and even then we will do our best to make changes or reroute packages wherever we can. This customer has been contacted and on 1/24 was provided a full refund. We are sorry this customer had such high hold times, as well - we just upgraded our phone system and had some growing pains with it but are back to normal - and we really hope to be able to gain this customer's trust back and show that they truly are a valued customer and that we'd love to prove that!”
