Ordered a video Card on a Thursday Morning (1:40AM), when it was listed as IN STOCK, see where I am going? Waited as Thursday and Friday came and went, that is their 24-48hr window to ship, and nothing about my order shipping was sent to me nor did the 'in process' status of my order change on their site.
What DID change was that Thurday evening my item went from IN STOCK to BACKORDERED. I wait for Monday, it is a busy time of year, nothing changes except I have yet to be contacted about the fact that my order is backordered. I call Tuesday night because again no change in the 'in process' status of my order. Well Customer service tells me my order is backordered, you think that in the 4 business days they had my order, they could have let me know. They took the time to update the website, why not the customer who is waiting for their merchandise?
Anyways I have lost time with these people and that is enough for me to say, call them because apparently they aren't gonna bother letting YOU know anything about YOUR order. Personally I won't bother shopping with them again, wasting my time is a deal breaker, and hiding your mistakes is just pathetic.

I ordered some transistors, opoelectronics, resistors and diodes. I was very satisfied with their online system that tells you what items are in stock and what items are awaiting replenishment.

Their lack of images for products online was an annoyance. I had to download their catalog in PDF format which is quite large to get an idea of what some of the items they offered looked like.

Despite that my order was put together and shipped the next business day and I got it in about a week which was fine for UPS Ground service.

I was less than thrilled about the condition in which most of my order arrived. About 80% of my order was potent with the stench of gasoline. Most distressing about this situatio was that a file set I purchased was STILL wet with Gasoline inside the plastic carrying pouch they came in. After a few days of 'airing out' the sensitive componets I did not want to wash the stench was gone.
My initial assumption was that the package handler, (UPS Ground) was to blame. On further investigation of the actual packing carton I found no evidence or smell of gasoline either on the package or inside of it, the gasoline was limited to the large plastic bag in which the various componets of my order was placed in.
I contacted All Electronics Corp to inform them as to the nature in which my order arrived and to ask how such a thing could happen and go unnoticed on their end. Their response was simple, they assumed it happened in transit (perhaps to their warehouse) and would refund my order if I wanted to send it back.
I did not want to repack my order and send it pack, pay for shipping or wait for them to receive it and or resend my order OR go find my items elsewhere. I decided when my order arrived that everything seemed O.K., despite the stench and would rather keep it than return it.
I like the selection they have and the prices they have but I will NOT be buying anything with them I cannot find elsewhere for the same price, or even slightly more than their price.

I ordered on a wednesday night, emailed them that night to add some items to my order and Mr. Stofer was very prompt in responding and helping my appen my order. Accidentally he added the wrong items, but was very prompt in responding to that and ultimatly I ended up taking the 'wrong' items as they were better than what I wanted and had features I did not notice when I passed them up.

I received my order on Saturday morning via USPS priority, everything was well packed and in good condition.
I will definatley be shopping at Sidewinder again, good prices and a great selection of quality products. Thanks Mr. Stofer and happy holidays to everyone at Sidewinder!

I ordered a case (Chieftec Matrix) because they were the one of the few, if not only, ones carrying it and had a good price on it. I also ordered a Powersupply, and some fans.
I was not very comforted by the way they seemed to lose my email and that my order confirmation did not mention I had to use their forum to actually get a response from a person. Once I inquired on the forum about my order status I got a response the next day, I NEVER did get the email that my order was shipped as the order confirmation said I would though.
All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase, everything is working and in good condition, packaging was good and my ups ground shipping got here a day earlier than expected.
My only concern for future orders are the negative comments here and some of the problems people ran into on the forum with their orders. Seems like you need to yell and scream to get some attention then there's a bit of a run around emailing different addresses to solve your problem. I Will order from them again if I see they have what I want for what I'll pay for it.

I ordered a Motherboard that arrived with a problem with it's memory controller. I Rma'd it back to newegg and the second board posted once then gave me the same memory error (a common problem w/ that mb).
At this point I wanted to exchange the board for another w/o getting charged a restocking fee and Customer Service was willing to do so except the board was listed as being a 'non refundable item' something I'll be paying more attention to in the future. So that was a nogo, I'm glad because I picked this motherboard for it's features and really didn't want another board just a working board. Third time was a charm and despite waiting nearly a month from initial order date to finally getting a good board I am happy with my purchase.
It's unfortunate I had to go through the process of RMA'ing 2 defective boards and paying to ship them but Newegg's RMA process is a breeze. I have to say if I HAD to RMA something I'd rather do it with them then anyone else.

That's one of the main reasons I started shopping with newegg other people's reactions to online order nightmares like mine.
