(potential) BUYER BEWARE! I wish I'd seen these reviews before my own debacle. I'd have saved myself $160 and a lot of indigestion.
On Aug 26, 2007, I ordered a $160 pair of "Star Trek TOS Boots." These were supposed to be authentic, hand-made, high-quality TOS replicas as shown in the pictures on his Web site (www.costumecostumecostume.com). Two months and 6 emails later, on October 29, 2007, I received a generic $40 pair of non-TOS boots that can be ordered from any online costume store. NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
When I confronted Mr. Kerezman about this, he suddenly came forth with a story about how "his boot maker is way behind" and that he therefore "sent these $40 boots so I'd have something for Halloween while we wait for the REAL boots to be delivered." He went on to say that he simply hadn't had time to enclose a letter explaining all this (despite the fact that we'd talked via email a half-dozen times prior to the order arriving).
I then sent Mr. Kerezeman a very civil/professional email telling him that this had all made me uncomfortable with the entire situation, and to cancel the transaction and refund my credit-card. I told him that I'd send his $40 boots back and that I'd even pay shipping. I've not heard back from him since.
Coincidentally, I had a number fraudulent credit charges show up a few days later, and had to shut my account down. I can't substantiate any kind of connection, but it's quite a coincidence that it happened shortly after my "breakup email" to Mr. Kerezman.
