Added 2 phones to my existing Sprint account on November 25th, 2011. Wirefly had two promotions for that particular phone at the time of purchase.

1. $25 gift card for each phone if the lines are still active on Feb 29, 2012.

2. Activation credit $36 per line after 3 months of service.

After receiving my March bill from Sprint and not receiving either of the offers I called Wirefly and asked for the status on both. I got their standard answer that they will escalate to next level and it will take up to 14 days. Within the next 10 days I got the $25 gift cards in mail. Waited another week and called in again asking about the activation fee credit. Received the same 14 day BS answer and there is nothing else they can do. I have called 2 more times since then but it's not going anywhere. Seems like after they make the request it either goes through or it doesn't and you can't talk to anyone or do anything else. So the point of the story is don't count on receiving their promotions, this company doesn't care if you do or not. They got paid when you purchased the phone and after that it's like talking to a wall.

After posting this review I received a phone call from Wirefly customer service. He called Sprint and I received my activation credit. Nice to see that they actually care what people are saying about their service.

Purchased an outside ceiling fan to hang on my patio. Few days after the purchase saw online home depot 40% off coupon which could be applied to the fan that I purchased. Called customer service and asked if I could use this coupon even though the fan has already been purchased and shipped out. It took few minutes for CSR to confirm the coupon and told me it can only be applied once the product is delivered and I should call back as soon it arrives. As recommended called after UPS delivered the fan and received the additional 40% refund. Very happy with their customer service and will definitely make other purchases at Home Depot.

I can honestly say that this purchase became one of more frustrating online purchases in a very long time. I placed an order for 3 tires (1 was replaced recently due to a nail in side wall). I had purchased tires from tirerack.com before without any issues however this time their price and shipping was slightly higher than Tires-Easy / delti.com. I decided to save some money but in return received a headache. My first hint that this company is not really up to today's standard of online retailers is the fact that you have to send the Paypal payment after the order is placed. Most retailers today have a plugin that securely connects to Paypal and lets you enter user id and password and send the payment. But this is not where the problems have started. To give them some credit I received the tracking number on the second day after the order was placed which is somewhat reasonable. I tracked the shipment hoping it's already in route but the status on UPS website said "Billing Information Received" which in UPS terms means we got the electronic notification but the package has not been received. I waited until 5 business days after the purchase and status did not change. That's when I called the 877 number on their website. The customer service rep tried to convince me that the shipment is in route just not updated on UPS website. I told him that's not the case and I even called UPS to get more info and they told me they have no record of this shipment except for electronic notification (UPS never had it in their possession). I asked to speak to the manager who tried to tell me the same story. Later he agreed to research my order and call me back. By the way he had an accent but he told me his name was "Greg Smith". The guy called me back from +3 592 number which from I can tell is in Bulgaria. He told me the tires were lost by UPS and they will issue a refund. He didn't even offer to resend the tires which leads me to believe they don't have them period. I waited few hours for my Paypal refund to come through and when it didn't I opened a case. Shortly after opening a case someone else in the company sent me the following email:

We are sorry we were not able to complete your order.

The order as been canceled since the tires have not been shipped.

Because you have made a chargeback with paypal we will not refund you for this order.

For any additional information , do not hesitate to contact us back at 877-253-6191.

Thank you for your understanding.

To make the long story short, this company is operating off-shore and drop ships the tires from US warehouses. The inventory levels on their website are bunch of B.S. since they don't really own the inventory and most likely don't have an accurate access to up to date numbers. By placing an order with them it's really a hit or miss, if the warehouse in US has the tires then you will get them if not then you are stock trying to get your money back. I'm sure Paypal and worst case scenario Discover will charge back these guys but it's not worth the hassle to save $50.

J.C. Whitney had oscillating tool on sale for $16.00, normally 39.99 at Harbor Freight. Placed an order on 12/15/10 hoping to get it by Christmas as a present. Received the following cancellation email on 12/16/10:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are writing you to notify you, that due to an overwhelming demand for the 16 piece oscillating tool kit (1JA990039) we have completely sold out of this kit. It is no longer available in our inventory. There was a limited quantity available and due to response to the “Blow Out” pricing we are unable to fulfill your purchase request. We will not be offering a rain check or back orders for this item. Thank you for your interest in buying your automotive parts from JC Whitney. We look forward to serving you with your future automotive needs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. . Have a safe and happy holiday season. I'm very disappointed in fact that their online store kept on taking orders for quantities they obviously did not have. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable way to do business.

Great service, I ordered Panasonic TH-46PZ85U and it was delivered to my house 7 days later. I received the tracking number the following day after placing the order. To my surprise no one called and tried upselling things that I didn't ask for, or to tell me that this particular model is out of stock. The TV was delivered on time and in great shape, no signs of damage on the box or on the actual TV. I'm very happy with this transaction as it saved me hundreds of dollars over buying the same TV locally.

Received a reconditioned hard drive, however no where on the website it was mentioned that their hard drives are not brand new. Sorry way to do business.
