This site pulled a classic bait-and-switch on me.

I placed an order on 5/31/2008 at evitaminstore.com. I ordered a full-size 6 oz waxing kit and a case of 6 lip balms. What I received was a travel size 1.6 oz waxing kit and 1 lip balm.

I emailed their customer service, and their response was,

"I checked the website and found that there was in fact an error. With over 15,000 products up on the website there is bound to be a few discrepancies."

They told me I could return the items AT MY EXPENSE, or they could give me a 1/2 price refund which was only $3.60. The value of the items I should have received were $17 and $19.80.

Needless to say, I will be staying FAR AWAY from this site.

I sent in a return shortly after receiving my order. However I never received a refund. They claimed they never received my return and practically called me a liar! They refuse to refund my money, and I can't dispute it with my credit card, because I used their credit card! Needless to say, I will NOT be ordering from them again. By the way, once you order from them you will receive a catalog in the mail EVERY WEEK.

After waiting nearly a month for my order of 3 items, I called up Yves Rocher's customer service. They told me that I did not spend enough money on my order, so it was automatically canceled. I asked what the minimum amount I had to order was, and she told me "we don't know". All she said was that for orders under a certain amount, they don't make any money on them, so they are automatically canceled. I never even received notification that my order had been canceled.
