I made a purchase on 12/3/2004 over the internet for 2 GBA games which were listed "IN STOCK". I never received an email notification to confirm the purchase or any shipping information - in fact, I still have not received a single email from them. I called on 12/20/2004 to find out what was going on. Like most people got the busy tone and kept using the re-dial button to get through. The customer service rep told me that they sent my order on 12/20/2004 and gave me a tracking number, but said they could not say when they shipped! I received a package on 12/22/2004, but only one game!
I called many times again to find out what was happening and finally got through on 12/24/2004. The customer rep told me that the shipping department would be sending the other game that day. Obviously, I was upset because it would not make it before Xmas. It's 12/30/2004 and nothing!
I keep calling and they have no information about the shipping date and will not let me cancel! I have threatened to contact the BBB and Attorney General's office, but they do not seem to care. I left a message for Steve, the manager, to contact me on 12/24, but nothing. The last customer rep I spoke to was named Daniella.
I wish I had seen these reviews before I made my purchase as well!
Update, I called several times to cancel the remaining item and they kept telling me they could not unless they knew from shipping. Finally, the 3rd time I tried to cancel on 1/6/2005, they said I would receive a credit in 2-3 business days. I never received the credit.
