I ordered an A/C sealant filter on April 6th. I'm a shipping junky and love watching shipments move (figuring out where central shipping junctions are etc) so I kept checking the order status. The charge on my account went through and was listed by my bank as "pending", but the item was still listed as "on hold". I realized I had given my billing and shipping address backwards and that might be why. On the 7th I emailed them and on the 8th I had an email from Katy saying the info was corrected.
On the 14th the order was still "on hold" so I sent them another email asking what I could do to get it off hold. In the 15th I got another email from Katy.
"We are sorry, but this item has been discontinued. Please let us know if there is another item you may be interested in. If you are not interested in anything, let us know and we will void out this order. We will keep this open pending your response as we can discount a replacement if you are interested."
I asked if they had a similar item and what the price would be. They had no similar items and so we cancelled the order and I was refunded my money.
They are still listing two similar items on their website.
They didn't contact me about the order issue, I had to contact them.
No big deal really. Crap happens, people get busy. I got my money back. I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry for the filter. In fact I'm still looking for one. I just won't be doing business with SJ again given the other reviews and my own experience.
