Well, I tried with Home Perfect (read the review) and now with Home Products to Go. GEEZ, are all of these companies owned by the same group??? Once again, the website indicates products are in stock and ready to ship. Yet after 8 days, no product and no communication. The website still shows product in stock and will ship in 1-2 days. My order still says "processing", which means it has not shipped. And don't bother looking for a customer service number in the email receipt or on the website...they either don't have one or don't advertise it. Probably because of all the complaints!! Is there not a company that knows what customer service means anymore????!!!

I see your order was delivered to you on 10/5/11 by UPS. I am sorry your order was not delivered to you sooner. Looking at your order, there is no reason for the item to ship from the manufacture at such a late date. I will call the manufacture directly to find out what happened.

I hope you are pleased with the items shipped to you. Please let us know if you have any further concerns regarding your order.”

Horrible!!! The website indicates products are in stock and ready to ship. After two weeks, no product, no communication and no refund. Had to call them and then found out that the products were on back order, yet the website still indicated that they were in stock.
Cancelled order. NEVER AGAIN!!!

“When placing orders with some manufactures, we have to wait for them to tell us if the items are available to ship right away or if an item is on back order. In your case, we notified you of the status of your order as soon as the manufacture told us the items were not available for immediate shipment. Your order was canceled and your account was refunded the very next business day per your request. If you have not received your refund, then please let us know. I looked into your refund and I can see all was processed correctly on 9/23/11.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused if your account is not refunded.”

I ordered almost $4000 in new appliances that they wanted to drop on the sidewalk and leave, refusing to deliver them onto the premises, despite the written contract terms. This is the exact language from the written contract, "Delivery: If any merchandise or product is delivered, there must be easy access to the premises where the delivery is made." When I was in grade school, premises did not equal public sidewalk. When I called the company, after the rude girl that offered no assistance, I spoke with the manager, who also informed me that they would not honor the written contract. Too bad for them, as I have now written the State Attorney General and will be filing a small claims action. All of this over a small $100 delivery fee that represents about 2% of the overall amount I spent, but it is deserved by a company that refuses to honor its written contracts.
