Placed an order by mistake. Called them back within a few hours of opening the next business day to request cancellation. I was told it was too late, order was in process. My only choice would have been to return item at my expense. Value of merchandise would not justify the trouble of returning so I allowed order to go through. Order did not ship until three days later. I fail to understand why their system would not allow for cancellation on such early notice.

Speedy order processing and lightning-fast delivery.

Had only one shopping experience with this company. No need for customer service interaction. But I am impressed with the speed of shipment which was received promptly thus making it easy for me to proceed with work.
Prices were also very competitive.

Merchandise arrived opened, damaged.

Phone rep. difficult to persuade, presented me with low level arguments. Finally agreed to a return but resisted paying for return postage to the point that I had to demand to speak with her supervisor.

It is worth noting that she had mentioned it was a last inventory item which might have been a previous return. Hence, an exchange was not possible.

Reluctantly she connected me to an impersonal voice mail box.

I called back demanding for a live supervisor or manager.
Courteous gentleman rep. this time put me on hold. An equally understanding supervisor agreed to e-mail me a prepaid return label.

There was no need for such energy and time consuming effort on my part in order to receive what I was entitled to.

The reason for this review is my conclusion, reading between the lines from my conversation with the first rep., that it is company policy to resit returns or refunds even to reasonable requests.

Horrendous customer service. Vague, insensitive, and impersonal Robot-generated responses.

Accounting/charge problems not due to my fault. I intend to file a complaint with the US and Canadian consumer protection authorities.

Would not patronize this establishment again.

Ordered book through Amazon Marketplace where they are doing business as "SBD".
They indicated book was available. Temporary credit card charge was activated with my bank.

Four days later I received notice that my order had been canceled - abruptly!
No explanation, no apology.

Temporary charge was dropped by my bank four days later, as it should have been.

My e-mail to SBD via Amazon was answered days later with a vague explanation as to the reason. I doubt if their rep. researched the case.

So far, wasted time. Also, a temporary charge appearing on my account which theoretically could have reduced my credit line - not an issue in this case only because of the amount involved.

Started looking for same book elsewhere on line.

Located book at lower price and placed order with a merchant going by the name "Super Book Deals", not knowing they were the same company as "SBD" on Amazon Marketplace. Had I known, I would have not given them the business.

No further shipping notice received, no tracking available.

Eventually book arrived, in good condition, but after a longer than expected transit time.

Conclusion:
Sloppy handling, unnecessary inconvenience. They did have the book from the start.

I have made numerous purchases from them. Naturally there have been occasional issues or questions.

Each time I discovered that my COMPLETE satisfaction was the number one priority of every one in sales or in the customer service department.

Repeat customer because of merchant's consistent quality service and prompt delivery. Would patronize again, gladly.

I wish there was a rating greater than "Five" to grade this seller! Courteous, professional, superior customer service when I called to report that one of the recently ordered products was defective.

Impeccably mannered and sympathetic representative offered me prompt replacement or full refund at my discretion. This was the least: it is his unparalleled courtesy over the phone - not a unique experience with Accessory Genie - that has me looking for reasons to patronize this merchant again.

The people at Accessory Genie are setting new standards by which customer service should be measured.

If software does not work properly due to no fault of yours or your hardware, do not expect any sympathy from this company. Not even a token consolation discount toward future purchases, like other decent vendors are offering.

Utterly insensitive fast-talking eager to hang up smart mouth representative not willing to listen to the problem kept interrupting, talking over me, repeating "company policy" like a broken record.

They have lower prices only on SOME, not on most software products. Shop around - there are plenty of reputable internet resellers offering the same software at a better price. Royal Discount is NOT an authorized reseller.

WORTH CONSIDERING: Purchase directly from the manufacturer. Prices will be higher but most big name software makers are offering 30-day free trial download and/or unconditional 30-day money back warranty. If for ANY reason you wish to return the product, no questions asked.

Placed a small order. Received order acknowledgment showing order number. Immediately afterwards did research about the company and concluded I should not be doing business with them.

Called the 800 number to cancel order. Hurriedly representative's attitude and tone of voice confirmes the negative reviews I had read about the company.

He was unable to locate order. Uncooperative about a solution. Pressured him to make suggestion. He told me to call back.

Thirty minutes later I called back. This time an exceptionally courteous lady representative locate and canceled order immediately. Politely inquired for the reason I was making this request. Her exceptional manners made me want to reconsider, however, multiple poor reviews from independent sources convinced me to proceed with the cancellation.
I also requested that my account be closed. Complimented her for the professionalism shown.

Immediately afterward I went to my credit card website and deactivated the one-use card number given for this purchase. Fortunately, transaction had not been initiated yet.

If you MUST do business with an unfamiliar company, for real peace of mind I would recommend that you obtain a credit card from an issuer that provides with temporary, one-use numbers. Thus have full control of the $$ limit and expiration date for a specific transaction. All charges will appear on your permanent account statement.

Several credit card companies offer this invaluable service. Yours could be one of them and you may not be aware about it.

Such temporary numbers can be created (or deactivated) in seconds once you are online connected to your account. The merchant never sees your permanent card number and can never charge you for more than the set dollar limit which you determine and control.
