They say Email is at a distinct disadvantage since it lacks the sensory richness of a face-to-face conversation. Well, I must say that my experience with Digiconcepts couldn’t prove the above statement to be more false. Allow me to explain…

MY PLAN: To install Windows XP onto my Macbook Pro via bootcamp to run the architectural programs I need to survive on a day-to-day basis.

MY MISTAKE: I ordered an upgrade version instead of the full version and realized so ONLY after I opened and attempted to install the software.

MY ACTION: I then desperately emailed the sales department of Digiconcepts and got in touch with Lori. I simply had told her what happened, without elaborating on my story.

DIGICONCEPTS’ RESPONSE: Within a matter of minutes, I received a response. The promptness truly shocked me. The sympathy shocked me further. I was expecting a dead-end answer as you know all companies spit out once their product has been un-sealed. Instead, I was engaged in a conversation with a woman that honestly cared about my situation. She kept me updated every step of the way with the prospective solution (to replace my opened copy with the version I needed).

MY THOUGHTS ON DIGICONCEPTS: Once I received this wonderful news of how they will exchange my un-sealed copy for the version I needed because they felt bad that I did not get what I wanted, I was ecstatic. I began reading the comments section on their website. I saw that they have bolded a comment for Mac users who want to install Microsoft to say so before checkout. This may have saved my exposure of stupidity if I had just thought to read it. More so, it really shows that Digiconcepts knows their stuff and wants to help out their clients as much as they can. You can really tell by the extent of information they offer their clients. In addition, They offered to send me prepaid mailing stickers so that I get free shipping on both my return AND my new product. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am truly taken back at the exceptional level of customer service displayed to me when I alone am the bearer of this mistake. In a few number of emails, I was shown compassion, graciousness, hope, and ultimately felt satisfied with gratitude. I really cannot say enough about how happy I am with Digiconcepts’ customer service. They saved a recent graduate some money and made her a customer for life! Most companies don’t have half the heart you do! Thank you!
