I am so sorry I didn't see these reviews before I bought my boyfriend his first RC airplane for Christmas; we chose a plane that was indicated as "ready to fly" and for "beginners"; to make a loooong story short, the plane wouldn't fly; a local hobby store told us the battery had a bad cell; we attempted to communicate with Nitroplanes via e-mail as we could NEVER get anyone to answer their CSR lines. They told us they would mail a new battery but have never done so and they have not answered any further e-mails; we bought another battery from them (didn't we learn the first time)in the hopes that we would be able to fly the plane but incredibly the new battery won't hold a charge. We're now out a little over $200 and have a "beginners" plane that we can't fly. We have attempted to contact Nitroplane on over a dozen occasions and have never ever gotten off "HOLD" to even speak with a live person. They have discontinued answering e-mail; I'm currently going to attempt to dispute this through my credit card company,notifying the BBB, and notifying the Attorney General's office in California. I absolutely hate rip offs and for the first time in a long time I'm the victim of highly unethical sales practices on the internet. Any suggestions of where else I should be reporting this company will be appreciated.
