My profession is purchasing and I've bought literally thousands of items online and have dealt with hundreds of vendors, but this has to be the single most dissatisfying experience.
Yes, they do have good prices BUT you pay a price for that, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER.
I bought couple of memory sticks but decided to cancel the order. 15-20 minutes later, I go back into my account pages and it reads, "You may cancel your order as long as the "cancel order" button is still available below your invoice information. If the cancel order button is no longer available, the order has already been processed and can no longer be cancelled."
I didn't find the cancel button so I decided to give them a call to see if they can relay the message down to the wherehouse to cancel the order. I give them a call and explained the situation. The Customer Service Rep. replied, "It shipped". That's it, that's all he said. He didn't offer to do anything with it. Not anything like, Oh, when you receive the package, go ahead and refuse the package and we'll gladly take it back. And, how could they have shipped the item in 30 minutes from when I placed the order? And where was my tracking number if it has shipped? The number only came 5 hours later, that's it. They plain lied.
I was actually thinking of refusing the package but since I wasn't home, and since the UPS guy just dropped it off at my front door, I wasn't able to. GOOD THING I DIDN'T REFUSE! It reads in their TERMS that if I had refused delivery, then they'd take the item back, MINUS 15% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE! So I would have lost $30 just for refusing it! On top of that, I would have forgone the shipping fee of $13 for a total loss of $43 for dealing with this moneyhole!
PAY COUPLE BUCKS MORE AND DEAL WITH NEWEGG!
NEVER AGAIN, EWIZ... I'M LETTING EVERYONE KNOW IN MY ORGANIZATION OF 10K PEOPLE TO NEVER BUY FROM THIS MONEY BLACKHOLE AGAIN!
