Now leaves negative retaliation feedback on ebay for order...STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER...check feedback on jeffracer1. Appears same day that this comment does...funny how this works.
I ordered off of an ebay auction due to the price. I got a Samsung HLN617w for about $700 savings over other stores and that was shipping included. I place the order on 3/21 and paid immediately. When I paid I asked about delivery and I was promised 2 weeks delivery (as noted on receipt in writing).
-3/29 I called to check up on the order and I was told that instead of the 4/5 promised delivery date, it would now be 4/8.
-4/5 I called again to verify that I would actually be getting my TV this week but they are closed until 4/8.
-4/5 tried to call their other number and again closed
-4/8 11am CST I called and talked to someone who said that I should call back in a few hours and he would have to check on my order status
-4/8 1:30pm CST Called again and spoke to the same person who now says that the first item was shipped but damaged in shipping and a new one would be rushed out tomorrow. Claims "couple days" arrival.
Note: I never saw shipping information and none of previous calls every claimed an actual ship date so I am not inclined to believe there ever was a "first shipment"
-4/9 Called and verified TV shipped, got freight tracking number, said should go out today and arrive by 4/16.
-4/12 Called freight company to verify shipment went out Friday 4/9 and they said no, it was just pickup order and that the shipment would be picked up today.
-4/14 Called freight company and got info on pickup, said it is flying out today and should be in PHX Friday 4/16. Asked about deliver that day as promised and said it couldn't happen. Scheduled 4/19 delivery, told to call back for possible earlier delivery.
-4/15 Saw package arrived in PHX, called shipping company asked for 4/16 delivery and was told that was too quick and it wasn't possible. Yet another let down.
-4/19 TV finally arrived with one other misunderstanding. Shopsunshine return policy says I must open/inspect before signing for delivery, shipper says I can't open until I sign. Called and shopsunshine said they would call shipper (if all else fails they say to sign and not "package not inspected"), 5 minutes and shipper threatens to leave with my TV if I don't do something now. I reluctantly signed with package not inspected, later shipper returns asking if I inspected saying that it is allowed.
