I ordered a Chenbro SR10769 server case from these guys. This was supposed to include the 2 non-hot swap drive cages; without them you cannot mount any hard drives. Nowhere on the listing did it mention that the cages were not included (well, until AFTER I called and complained).
I immediately called and talk to an account rep (name removed) and explained the situation. He went out and realized that all of his SR10769 cases didn't include the drive cages. He told me he'd call me back the next day. He didn't; I had to call him.
He told me he was going to try to get my replacement cages, and after several phone calls, he said that one cage was on the way (even though there's supposed to be TWO cages).
I have not heard from them in over a month, and he never shipped at least the one cage as he promised. Very poor customer service - since the case weighed over 50 pounds I'd have eaten over 1/2 the cost just to ship it back to them.
*Update 02/08/07*
ClubIT went ahead and not only sent me the drive cages, but the updated units that had the hot-swap capability. It took a while, and was a result of posting about them on this website (reseller ratings) that possibly forced them to make right on this situation. Or possibly, had I continued to make daily calls eventually they'd have straightened this out.
At the end of the day, they made this situation right for me, and that's all one can ask for. Bravo to ClubIT!!
