First I have to say that they ship fast and have been good to me in the past, but as someone who tried to use their Price Match policy for the first time, some true colors came thru...and not pretty ones.

I ordered an Canon 5D MKii camera from them on 12/8/11 and on 12/17/11 (well within the 30 day policy) I contacted them because an authorized Canon dealer (B&H Photo) had the item for $200 less than what I purchased it for.

So I call ABT and provide them with the link thru techbargains.com website. They respond by telling me that external links can't be used for price verification despite the fact that the link takes them straight to B&H web site. So I hang up not happy.

I then find the actual item number at B&H and call back ABT with the info. It indeed comes up for them while I speak on the phone with ABT customer service. Get put on hold and then was told that a manager says that 'this is below our cost' which is utter nonsense, flat out lie actually, since they want me to believe that B&H is selling below cost. Hung up very unhappy.

Moral of story is ABT will not honor their Price Match Policy.
