I just bought a Canon DSLR + several lenses from them. Terrible customer service!
1. SUPER pushy, rude people, ALWAYS in a hurry. I wasn't even allowed to finish my (short) sentences, I was always interrupted, assumptions were made about the order, lens type etc (let me talk, I know what I want!)
2. ZERO response to email. No response for over 4 days.
3. Phone operators will happily transfer you without courtesy (me: "Hi! I'm calling regarding my order #1234 for a DSLR and I was ..{BEEP -> Transferred!!}
4. After placing an order online, they wouldn't ship my order!! They wanted me to call them at extension 278. WTH? I've been able to buy much more expensive stuff online where the order initiation, completion and fulfilment is quick and snappy (and secure too).
5. I tried extension 278 three times but reached a voicemail all three times. Useless.
6. I guess my stuff might actually ship this time - we'll see how it shapes out.
I have no idea why something this simple needs to be this complicated and more importantly, inconvenient! These guys need an operations expert ... doesn't seem professionally managed.
