Got pretty good treatment doing a refund on a very expensive camera lens from these folks. There was also a bad misunderstanding on a very expensive camera I mean big bucks!! It seems both B&H and I were ignorant of something that when it came to light we smoothly worked it out. Their return policy is pretty good and when there was a problem they acted very professional about it. So far they seem trustworthy and I'll keep shopping with them.

I use to love Newegg I've been a loyal customer since January 2005. I always thought newegg.com was one of the best things on the web but my latest experience with my newegg.com RMA/refund has completely changed my opinion of them. I feel very much like I'm experiencing the passing away of a old dear friend. Seems like Newegg is getting too big, greedy and extremely stupid they don't mind constantly offending and frustrating customers they think a fake apology is suppose to cover that up.

Newegg is abusing a reputation they have built up over the years. My RMA/refund process with them was a total nightmare it involved many emails and phone calls they did nothing but make mistakes, stall, contradict, lie, give excuses and phony hollow apologies for all the constant incompetence and frustration they put me through. It was like every couple of days I was beating a mule to get it to move a few inches. I constantly had to pressure them to get answers and they constantly gave me false or confusing information on my refund. It look like to me they where hoping I would just get tired of this process and give up so they could keep my money.

The product I bought from one of their sellers should not even be allowed to be sold it is so cheap it just breaks even before you can put it together. All along they promised to give me a full refund plus my shipping expenses for RMAing it back. Only after I threatened to open a paypal dispute they finally gave me a refund but it turned out to only be a partial refund!! even though the return invoices said it was to be a full refund, they also said this was to be full refund in the phone conversations I had with them (I have the phone recordings) and on the emails. So this case is not over, now I am embroiled in contesting them with my credit card company. These people are amazingly stupid you cannot treat customers like they treated me and expect to have a good success.

Bought a dryer from homedepot.com online, got it delivered in good time the delivery men took it to my elderly parents home and quickly installed and left without even trying to turn it on to see if it worked. When my folks tried the dryer later it there was a bad burning electrical smell and the motor worked but not the heating part of the dryer. We called and got a replacement with the extended 5 year service plan, we got it in a few days all good so far. Until I tried to register the warranty with Home Depot .

It took 2 days on the phone & web, we even went to the store in person to see if we could get it straighten out that way with no results just the same incompetence as the internet & phone. It was a insane experience of constant contradictions, confusion, misinformation & incompetence. They send you to another extension on the phone that leads to the wrong place until you have to hang up and try calling someone else at Home Depot with a similar experience of being sent to an extension that leads to the wrong place. I went through this phone process over and over and over and over and over. The emails that they sent me had false misleading information about registering and the web page where you register doesn't work.

Finally after I started talking rough to these people (and it seems that what it took to get this done) they finally supposedly straighten out the registration for the service plan but only after going through more confusion and contradictions. I say "supposedly straighten out" because they give you no paper receipt, email receipt, fax receipt or web account confirming that your product is now registered. You just have to take the word of these bungling clowns whom I wouldn't trust that they could even remember their own name! So after all this I still don't really know if our product is resisted and if we are going to have to go through other insane process with Home Depot if we need to have the dryer repaired under their extended service plan?

I always have a good experience shopping here they have some of the best prices and coupons on the web. I shop for plastic models & model supplies they have a reasonable selection. Had to call customer service once they were polite and took care of my problem right away. Shipping is good takes about a week to arrive.

Amazon.com

Amazon is one of the best online vendors , as far as purchasing goes I have always had good experiences with them , I only had to send back one item that was broke and didn't work right , a $140.00 grinder and they paid for the return shipping and refunded me with no hassles. Their shipping is reasonable I use the free shipping option about 95% of the time, the item usually takes about a 7- 9 days to get to my house . I almost always shop and plan ahead for what I need or I'm in no big rush for what I buy anyways so I don't mind the longer wait for the free shipping savings.

Lately I am shopping more and more at Amazon since their prices are very good and for me personally a lot of times they are about the best prices available because I ovoid like the plague those super low prices the sleazy dishonest online vendors use to snag people with. I always do my research and resellerratings.com is a great help along with things like ripoffreport.com, BBB and some others (even though BBB has some really negative issues it still has a useful side to it). It is pretty stupid just to shop on line without checking the background of who you are dealing with.

On eBay 2 different times I bought some cheap software , like 5 or 10 dollars that turn out to be illegal copies and that was partly due to me I was a little more careless than I should have been, other than that I have never been burned online because I follow the simple procedure of checking things out and I have done hundreds of online transactions.
