An online order was placed, on an item that was only available for in-store pickup, using a government credit card. After purchase, was only told that their pick-up system had been down for days and only the credit card holder could pick up the item. Having a slow website is one thing, but not having a feature(designating a pick-up person with a pin number) that was advertised is another thing. This company totally sucks. I will never purchase anything from Micro Center again.

After missing the first attempt of the three attempts for a signature required delivery, I took a day off the next day waiting for the delivery at home. The driver never showed up, but the tracking showed that he attempted, but nobody was home. There was also no door tag left on the door proving that the driver never showed up. This not only happened once but multiple times and to my neighbors also. Their drivers are liars. And everything they showed up , they would make a trench on my lawn. Now I would not even buy from any online stores that use Fedex as their delivery service.

I successfully ordered two Stainless steel thermos with my credit card. Two days later I received an e-mail saying the thermos had been discontinued. i.e. They were never in stock in the first place?!

This is a horrible place to shop. The shipping charge was $2 more than what was at the time of my ordering and in the e-mail confirmation. Also the free gift that was supposed to come with the order never came. This place is in a mess. If you shop there, be prepared to be scammed and do not be surprised if you find that the actual charge on your credit card is a few bucks more than when you placed the order. They must make a fortune from doing this.

I ordered a mattress pad which was supposed to come with two free pillows as advertised both in-store and online on Friday morning, received pickup confirmation e-mail Friday afternoon and went for an in-store pickup that evening. I handed in my pickup confirmation e-mail, CC's last 4 digits and waited 10 minutes. When the CSR finally made a call to the back for someone to bring out the pad. I asked if it came with the 2 free pillows, but was bluntly told that they ran out. As I was standing there, there was a basket next to me piled up with dozens of pillows. She offered no apology or substitutes. So I asked her to cancel my order and 2 days later I found online that my order was still active and my CC was still charged. So I e-mailed LNT asking them to cancel my order and I have not gotten a reply after 2 days. I've had great experiences doing in-store pickup from other merchants, e.g. Sears, CircuitCity, BestBuy just to name a few. LNT's in-store pickup process is the slowest and the CSR also gave me the impression that she did not welcome in-store pickups. LNT also does not follow their own advertisement. Do not, I repeat, do not buy anything for in-store pickup at LNT. Better yet just do not order anything from LNT at all. Save yourself the time and trouble.

A week ago today on a Friday, I ordered 4 secure digital(SD) memory cards from them. A week later today, there was still no shipping confirmation. I called and their support phone number only took messages and there was no live person to talk to. E-mailed them and was told they just forwarded my order to their warehouse to ship. So what would have happened if I had not contacted them? My order would probably sit in their computer forever, unfilled.


Today 8 days after ordering, I received an e-mail informing me that the order was shipped yesterday. It took them 7 days to ship out 4 SD memory cards and only after my inquiry! This was my second order. My first order went smoothly and I received it in a timely manner. This clearly shows that MeritLine is not consist in their handling of incoming orders unlike Newegg.com who ALWYAS ship within 24 hours after I order. I would think twice before ordering anything else from them.


I did receive my order on the 10th day after ordering. Their shipping confirmation e-mail was sent a few days AFTER shipment. I also received another e-mail from Meritline explaining their free standing shipping as quoted below. I just wish that their shipping process is more consistant. Since Meritline.com did make an effort trying to remedy the situation by explaining their shipping policy which many companies did not even bother to respond. This showed that they did care about their customers or ratings. I am changing my rating from "Very Dissatisfied" to "Somewhat Satisfied".

I've purchased many merchandises from them in the past several years. Their shipping process has been very fast. As a matter of fact, everything I had ordered always arrived in 2 days! On the other hand, I have to admit that I've never had to return a merchandise or deal with their service department so far. Overall, I recommend them.

Ordered a DVD as a Christmas present for my daughter on Dec. 6, 2005. It was shipped on Dec. 8 according to DDD's order status. As of today, Dec. 21 (13 days later), I still have not received it. Unbelievable! USPS has the slowest and worst shipping service. I can't believe any company would use USPS to ship its merchandise. I know this because every other week, I would get someone else's mail delivered to my mailbox. Avoid DDD and USPS.

I have placed dozen of orders with Amazon.com in the past few years and never had any problem with them. Their service is first rate and website is easy to use. Don't know why the low rating here. In the past, I had to return a defective LCD panel and a DVD player, the RMA process was simple and quick. They even e-mail me the prepaid shipping labels; in this respect, I think it beats even Newegg.com.

This happened twice this year. I ordered something online and did in-store pickup. Once I got to the store, each time I had to waited 40 minutes for them to search for the merchandises that I ordered. The first time, she brought an open-box(even the static bag was opened) disk drive and told me it was never used and refused to mark it down. So I left. The second time, I was told the desk lamp was out of stock after waiting for 30 minutes. This is the store off New Hampshire Ave. in Maryland. Watch out for that Indian manager, she is mean and rude. I will never step in that store again.
