I have been a long time loyal newegg customer and every order has been positive, until recently. I placed an order for an item with free egg saver shipping (3-7 days). Newegg processed the order fast as usual, and provided the tracking information as well. I use Newegg because I know that items which are shipped by regular ground service arrive within 3 days, not including weekends and holidays. For some reason the free egg saver shipping took 6 days before it was delivered. When I contacted customer service on the 5th day thinking the order was lost I got the standard reply to wait another 3 days (5 days actually because it did not include the weekend) and then start the process to get a new order shipped. I guess from now on I'll make sure to only order if it's guaranteed 3 day service, or at least make sure it's the free 3 day shipping and not egg saver.
