I purchased a DB-9 serial adapter that was advertised as working on Vista. The driver that came with the adapter could not be loaded since Vista said it wasn't signed. None of the manuals that came on the driver CD matched the Vista install screens. Tech Support first simply sent me a URL along with "run this installer" (that was the entire message). That driver was also unsigned (according to Vista, not me). When I asked Tech Support again for help, I was sent another URL and the advice "disable your virus protection". The next attempt to install a driver also failed since Windows claimed "The name is already in use". Windows also failed to uninstall the driver. At this point, Tech Support's advice was "I would say pack it up send it back". I sent back the adapter and followed up with several emails but the company refused to refund what I paid, claiming the adapter worked fine on their system. Like others have said, be aware of this company's inflexible return policy and the hefty "restocking fee". There are other places on the web to buy this same product since the company is merely a reseller.
