Item came appropriately packaged, but took longer than expected to arrive. Not my first (or even second) choice, but they will deliver.

“Item was shipped from our Los Angeles warehouse at 7:29PM on the 24th of August, delivered on the 26th of August at 3:33PM to the customer. The shipping service chosen by this customer was UPS Ground and the distance covered was about 400 miles.

Items shipped quickly, but woefully underpacked. They just shoved a lose item and retail box into a padded envelope. Everything came though alright, but I would expect at least a box.

Good communication, and the item arrived promptly. UPS didn't scan when out for delivery... but that's not their fault. No invoice or packing slip in the box, which is a bit disappointing.

I ordered two compact fluorescent bulbs from Full Spectrum in 2007. About every six months, one of the bulbs fails. Each bulb has been replaced twice now.

The first time, they were very apologetic, but insisted that I pay a ridiculous shipping charge for the replacement. I was able to talk them into something close to reasonable, and I was not required to pay to return the broken lamp.

The second time, they did not respond to my warranty request in a timely fashion. The reply that I did get simply asked me to call them for service. However, this time, they agreed to pay for shipping both ways.

Both the third and fourth times, they were testy and insisted on applying their ridiculous shipping fees to send the replacements. Keep in mind, their warranty clearly states that they are responsible for paying to ship the replacement, and the user is responsible for returning the broken item; they refuse to honor this.

Also, at the point where it was obvious that this model has a design flaw which causes premature failure, I asked to simply return the broken bulb and the working bulb for a full refund. They refused, preferring to lose money sending out replacements.

I usually get compact fluorescents at Home Depot or Topbulb.com. It was a mistake to go with Full Spectrum.

Update:
Both bulbs failed again. They tried to charge me double what shipping should have been again, and again, I talked them down. One of the replacements was DOA.

Also, the packaging continues to have bulb misspelled "BLUB," which, after three years, is amazing to still see.

Skip Full Spectrum and buy elsewhere.

Sent counterfeit memory cards and hung up on me when I inquired about them.

The company refuses to provide a refund.

They have an "F" rating with the Los Angeles area Better Business Bureau. I wish that I had looked them up first.

I ended up disputing this with my credit card; they did not even bother to respond. They also did not respond to the BBB complaint or the California Attorney General. Supposedly, this company participates here, but there is no response to all of the problems people have posted about.

About one month after my last update CellularFactory decided to respond to the inquiry by the California Attorney General's office. They did not dispute that the items were counterfeit. They did, however, concoct a story that made them look a little better, and blamed a supplier in China.

Moral of the story: Don't buy from these people. The entire enterprise is run by the seat of someone's pants.

If it's too late for this warning and CellularFactory.com sent you a fake, sent you the wrong item, misdescribed an item, the item didn't work correctly, or didn't send you anything at all, please file a complaint with the California AG at the above link. Once the file gets fat enough, they will take action.

Update 4:
That's right; this story continues.

After *six* months, CellularFactory finally decided to respond to the BBB complaint. They stated that they sent me a refund, which they could not do, since they lost the credit card dispute (see Update 2).

Their rebuttal to this was some jumbled text that appears to have been information concerning the credit card charge. I say "appears" because, on top of being jumbled, it obviously ran over the character limit; so, they didn't even post the whole thing.

If you've read this far and not caught on, these people *do not* know what they are doing. Don't just take my word for it -- there are many, many negative reviews just right here. Avoid CellularFactory.com.

Ordered a keyboard. Took more than a week to arrive from them... about two miles away. They sent the wrong item. I returned the item per their direction; they reported receiving it back. After being promised either the correct item or a refund, I have received neither.

UPDATE: After about a month of back and forth, I ended up disputing with my credit card to get my money back. The people with whom I have communicated at eTech did nothing to fix the issue, often attempting the pass the buck to someone else or making empty promises. I strongly suggest that you shop elsewhere.

I was assured that order would ship out the day that I ordered and paid extra for that. It took two days to ship and two more days in transit to go 20 miles. They were unappologetic about the delay.

Charged me a restocking fee for a refund on an item that didn't work!

Edit: After making this review, they refunded the entire amount. While I'm happy to receive it, such after-the-fact customer service is not an acceptable way to do business.

Edit #2: After making the above comment, Newegg has offered my $25 off my next order. While I am impressed with their efforts to satisfy me, it would be far better if they would have policies and systems which did not cause these issues in the first place!

Good items at a great price... unless it changes. Price went up on items that I was buying while making payment; their website automatically charged me the higher one. They initially refused to correct the charge because they had gotten in "trouble" with the item's manufacturer for their price. After some back and forth, I finally convinced someone to elevate the issue to a person who credited me the difference. They should fix their system so that it works correctly.
