I purchased two pairs of Haflinger slippers in Dec 2010 @ $70 each. A decent sum for slippers, but I thought, "hey, they'll last forever!" Famous last words. After 3, 4 months they started coming apart. I sent them for a return, and they sent them back saying that they were not a manu. defect. Wow, I have never had a company refuse to take back a clearly defective item. I have been trying to follow up and get a response ever since, and finally after banging my head against a wall and endless haranguing, they credited me for one of the shoes. They made be feel guilty about it and never acknowledged that I could actually be right about these shoddy slippers that are now virtually unwearable. Ridiculous. And yes, if I recall, there were some weird shipping issues that I have never previously experienced with other companies.
