This company sold a product we had ordered (and tried to pay for) out from under us to someone else who bought all of the stock in the item we had tried to purchase.

Infonec's website and systems went down when they were due to process our order, and somehow the entire order was lost in the process. We phoned the day after we had placed our order and they told us there was absolutely nothing they could do because their "systems were down" (including their website).

After their systems came back up, no one, including the sales rep we had talked to earlier, bothered to ensure that all pending orders were processed. We phoned the next day and were told that there was no longer any stock in the item we had already ordered and provided purchase info for. The rep told us that one single buyer had bought all stock in this hard to find item and that they were not expecting new stock any time soon.

Basically, this company sold the product out from under us after we had placed the order.

Hunts really let me down.

I ordered a used Hoya 58mm circular polarizer from them and received a completely different item, despite being assured I would get exactly what I ordered.

The Hoya filter I had ordered was listed in used but excellent scratch free condition.

What I received had several compression fractures (noticeable small cracks in the glass along two opposite inner walls of the filter) and would by no ones judgement be listed in "excellent" condition.

I was, eventually, refunded my money, however there was nothing comparable that Hunts could give me, so I still ended up with nothing and a lot of wasted time.

I hadn't originally planned to write a review of my experience with Hunt's, until I just received an email from "BuyShield", a company Hunt's uses to try to sell you warranties on, even used, parts. I have received 3 such emails now since manually unsubscribing to this offer. This was NOT an opt-in offer and there were NO notifications that my email AND part of my customer information (purchase, name, email) would be given away.

Hunt's will SELL your email away. Don't give it to them.

I recently tried to buy a camera lens from Futureshop.

It was listed as 4 In-Stock on their website, so I tried to order it. Upon getting to the third step of the order process I see that the item is only available at the Chilliwack store, which is a 5 hour drive from my location in Kelowna.

Since there were no options provided to ship it, I decided to phone their customer support line. After 5 minutes going through the usual Press 1 for... and the mandatory waiting time, I spoke with a gentlemen who, when I asked if it was possible for Futureshop to ship one of their in-stock lenses from Chiliwack to me or to the Kelowna Futureshop, I was told "No we don't do that."

I asked him directly, "So it's not possible for me to buy this lens from Futureshop?" and he told me "Yes, sir." and told me to add it to my "wish list" for my location, and that I would be notified when it came in stock via email. I asked how long it would take and he said upwards of 3+ weeks.

Futureshop would flat out not take my money for a product they have available.

I've been a long time user of NCIX and I've always been pleased.

I've only had to deal with their RMA department once in the 7+ years I've been ordering from them, and when I had to (most recently in Dec. 2009), they were prompt and informative. I wanted the item cross-shipped and they accommodated, giving me clear instructions on what to do.

I've never been disappointed by NCIX and I think Canada is lucky to have them, providing reasonable prices on computers and electronics.

Very satisfied.

What can I say about 2blossoms?

They are a terrible company off to a terrible start.

I placed my order for the cd "VAST - Turquoise and Crimson" on October 29th, 2005. To this day I have not received the following:

1) Any correspondance from 2blossoms (at all)
2) My package
3) A refund

I visited their forums and read that there were supply issues and issues with getting the CDs out. I expected this because they're a small busisness and they're fairly new. I dealt with the delays until January, when I emailed and politely asked where my CD was. I gave my order number, all applicable information, and asked if my issue could be resolved.

I received no reply. I forwarded the same email to them 6 days later, on the 11th of January.

I received no reply. I posted several times in their forums. A post was made by one of their support agents "Leona". She made promises about how she would personally deal with issues if people would PM her on the forums descripting their issue and giving her their order number. I never received a reply to the PM I sent her, and my issue was never dealt with.

I visited the forums again today, only to find that I was banned from them. The company had BANNED me from the ONLY way I could POSSIBLY get in touch with them. They had my money, I had nothing. I found out that they had only banned my IP, and when I went back to visit after my IP had changed, I made another post asking why I was banned and if this was how they treated their paying customers? It apparently was. Approximately 20 minutes later I received a site-wide ban, with no explanation. I could no longer access the site that I purchased the CD from. I could not access contact forms, contact information, my own personal information, or anything at all.

I've not received an explanation for any of the bans, or where my product is, or why I can't have a refund.

2blossoms stole from me. They took without giving, they are a terrible bunch of crooks and I suggest you avoid them like the plague, because they are everything that is wrong with a business-gone-bad.

Terrific customer service and prices.

After waiting 2 weeks with another online retailer, I was fed up. I looked elsewhere and I then found Vibe Computers. I placed my order for some RAM. Unfortunately, they ran out of stock. I waited 20 days or so for the item to come in stock with Vibe, and they did their best to get the item in stock. I was about to give up hope when I received a phone call from one of their reps. He told me he had good news, and that my ram would ship priority today and I would get it tomorrow.

Vibe did a terrific job of dealing with the situation they had (low product availability from the manufacturer) and they pulled through.

Combined with their terrific, friendly and outgoing sales staff, their low prices and high availability, I am impressed and I will do business with them again, guaranteed.
