Let me add my voice to the huge number of complaints about Fry’s customer service. I bought a TV online while in the airport returning from vacation, with in store pickup. The next morning when I next checked my e-mail there was an e-mail from them saying I had to pick up the TV the same day (now yesterday). When I called customer service I was told that, although I had put in all of my personal and credit card information, I hadn’t actually bought the TV, I had only reserved it at the store, and they would not now honor the price. Today the TV is $800 more expensive. I spoke to online customer service, then 4 different people at the local store. They thought this policy made sense. Nowhere on the site did it say that I wasn’t actually purchasing the TV, and nowhere did it say that I would have to pick it up on the same day. I will never buy another item at Fry’s, and I recommend you do the same.
