November 09, I found a dishwasher online and on sale at Home Depot. I attempted to place an order but the online ordering system couldn't take my order. So, I placed the order over the phone. They said I would receive an email confirmation. Did not receive a confirmation. Two days later, called back and the Appliance area was down for two days...no confirmation as the appliance went off sale.... Called a week later and finally got a sales number and the credit card was charge immediately even though I received to confirmation. Oh, and by the way, that dishwasher will be delivered in January!!! and they charged the card in November? Isn't there a law against this? Finally called back in mid December and got them to re-email me the confirmation info with an invoice # I could track.
One more side note. I ordered an install package but Maytag has changed connections so I didn't need the $22 install package. When I went to the local Home Depot to return it...they refused, in store credit only. The invoice was to another store in town and I'd have to go there for cash back....Give me a break. Difficult to business with!!
