1/5

I ordered an "open box" Plantronics Voyager 855 and have yet to receive it. I sent a query one week later and got an email that said "please call us." I shop on the Internet specifically to not have to call people. After trading some more emails, they say: we're sold out of your item, but we get shipments in all the time. Forget about the fact that we're still selling your "open box" item on our website. It's likely we'll get a shipment in and you can get your item.
Today, I got THREE phone calls from them and a message saying "well, I can give you a BRAND NEW ONE, TODAY ONLY, and it will only cost you 25 more dollars!" Uh-huh. I'll take my bargain open box item, thank you, whenever you are ready to send it to me.
4/13/08 - Email from N1Wireless.com. They have canceled my order. But they still have a new one, for $75. They have called me three times day for the past week, no doubt to get me to "upgrade" from my open box. This is bait-and-switch tactics, in my opinion. Good bye forever, happy not doing business with you. Makes you really appreciate Newegg, Amazon, Target, and the other good ones.
