I have also reported to BBB of New Jersey, the California Attorney General, and also to http://shopping.yahoo.com/merchantrating/?mid=13346&quickrating=1&.scrumb=5ThBPoHosJW

The company has several names
and is also called Letterfolders.com (AKA - Ace Depot, Time Clock
Zone, American Refurbished). I consider them scam artists, before
I purchased I called to ask and make sure they had this model in
stock to which they said they did. I received a different model
cash register and I called the company to complain and they said
it was the same thing just a different model number. Since I
needed the exact model version to be compatible with my system, I
requested for the item that I ordered. Ace Depot said they didn't
have the item so I requested for a full refund since it was there
mistake of shipping a different item than what I ordered. I spoke
with the owner Chris Corday and he sent an email with the RMA
and agreed to a full refund with no restocking fee since
it was there mistake. I sent back the return within a few days of
receiving the item since it was not what I ordered. A week later I
called Ace Depot and the representative confirmed they received
the return and said the refund would be issued within a week. A
week passed by and I called again and it was the middle of August,
the same representative lady said that there merchant cycle was
near the beginning and end of each month so I would be refunded
near the end of August. About two weeks past by and it was the
first week of September. I called again and Chris said I should
have received the refund and he refunded me back in July. I asked
for him to send a copy of the refund receipt so I would contact my
credit card company to investigate why I didn't receive credit, he
said he would email me. 2 weeks past by and I was busy and forgot
and I never received the email so I called Ace Depot again and for
the past 2 weeks it has been a nightmare. I have done business
for over 10 years and as a customer and business owner, I would
never treat my customers like this. Emails were never responded
to (I have proof of several emails I sent). Phone call messages
left were never answered. I called the customer service over 15
times the past 2 weeks (I have phone records) and the rep says she
handles support but Chris the owner handles billing, and she would
always give the runaround saying that Chris is at a meeting and
that I would have to call back. I would highly recommend that you
investigate this matter and there shady tactics, I believe they
fraud consumers by not giving them a refund, keeping the return,
and also selling refurbished items when they say the item is new.
Many others have complained about being scammed by this company at
http://shopping.yahoo.com/merchantrating/?mid=13346# and
http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Letterfolders

After several and numerous unpleasant attempts to get the refund
over the phone (caused me 2 days of unnecessary high blood
pressure), Chris finally emailed me this week saying my
credit has been issued in the amount of $240. After spending
another hour trying to reach Chris today to ask when the refund
was issued and why the email didn't say I received the full
amount, the attempt was unsuccessful and the workers were giving
me the workaround. If you check the 2 big review sites I
provided, someone also received the email saying they got credited
but they never did.

In my entire life as a customer, I have never had to spend
over 15-20 calls to kindly ask for a refund, and to get ignored
and played. This was no misunderstanding, since I never received
the refund from the company I clearly requested for the company to
provide proof of the refund and they have never provided it to me.
Over a few times I had asked to send the proof of refund to
another email address or to my fax number to which they did not
abide, finally I receive an email that a credit has been issued
but I am sick of there games and do not want to contact them again
as this issue will go on and on. I am sure they keep a lot of
money this way since many consumers are busy to check if there
refund was processed, but I have been persistent. I don't want to
be a victim of a con and as a consumer I not only didn't get the
product I purchased, I didn't even get my money back and I don't
want this company which has many company names to take advantage
of other consumers. It was the worst purchasing experience ever,
many other customers said the same thing on the 2 review sites.
If something so easy that should have been taken care of isn't and
is ignored, something is going on, they are illegally holding on
to my money.
