I accepted the recommondation that was given to this so-called company by Goggle. In hindsight, I should have known that if Goggle recommends someone it is better to run away from that company/organization than do business with them. I get to join the ranks of those who have been ripped off by this company and I am making it my persoanl mission to warn everyone I come in contact with about the GIANT RIPOFF that is eGlobal Wireless.
I made the mistake of trying to purchase a "mini-netbook" for my daughter. What I received was the hieght of 1970's technology. It was total crap, the version of Windows was something totally unfamilar to me and I have been around computers since the birth of the home pc in the 70's.
The battery in my kids rc car has a longer battery life than this POS does. The wireless range on the unit is under 4 feet. I can go to the local Kmart and get 100 times the unit for the same money and less hassle if there is a problem. I know now where Capitol One got the model for their "Peggy" ads, it was from the so-called service manager at eGlobal.
I am posting this message here as well as on the University message boards with the hopes that no one ever has the misfortune of doing business with them. I am also going to send a copy of this to Goggle itself, not that I beleive that they are going to do anything as long as they are getting their money but maybe. One could hope.
