My overall experience with Vitacost has been wonderful. They have quick shipping and their products have been pretty good for the most part. Also, they have great prices on a lot of things that I've compared on other sites.

The least positive thing I can say is not about their products, but about their shipping. I have had 2 shipments arrive at my home with plastic shipping "balloons" that are completely flat, so they had no cushioning effect on my stuff as they were shipped. Also, the last shipment I received had came in a box with the word "fragile" on it, but the box clearly had been squashed under something else because the top was pushed in and the corners were breaking. My husband saw the package on the doorstep first and thought it was so funny that this "fragile" package arrived crunched that he took a picture of it and emailed it to me. Again, nothing was broken, but I would be surprised if I was the only one this has happened to or if nobody has ever had anything arrive broken because of it.

Despite the strange shipping issues, I like the company, their products and their prices. I will continue to purchase from them in the future. If things start arriving in broken bottles and leaking packages, then I will reconsider--but only after I've given them a chance to fix the problem first.
