Ordered a router 8/3, first transactions I've had with dailysteals. I contact them 6 business days later (they say they ship in 4), and they say it will be a few more days (no reason supplied). I ask to get my shipping refunded and they refund it. 2 days after I contact them, I get a notification email about a shipping delay from their supplier and that it will take a few more days.
A full 2 weeks (10 business days) after I place my order, I finally get a shipping notice.
My router arrives a full 3 weeks after I ordered it. I am disappointed with dailysteals for the poor shipping (which they say is due to a supplier error). Mainly I am upset that I had to initiate all contact with them, and basically did not get any useful information. As soon as they knew there was an issue, a notification email should have been sent, and shipping should have been refunded.
Also, don't even bother calling, I was on hold 20minutes before I gave up (Wed 3pm est). Livechat was more responsive, but not very informative.
The product and price were good, but don't order unless you expect to wait.
Edit 8/29: I was contacted the day after this was posted, but it was filtered spam by hotmail. Quick replys in response to my resellerrating.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay might have caused this customer and we have emailed them with updates and a possible resolution and are waiting to hear back.”
