I have put a SquareTrade warranty on every iPhone, iPad we've owned (and there have been many!). I also have it on our Canon camera. I've never, ever regretted doing this and will never own any electronic item without a SquareTrade warranty. Their customer service department is SO easy to work with, knowledgeable and nice with quick, well-informed answers to any question I have asked. The claims process (I've had 4 now) is so easy it's almost hard to believe with fast answers, great follow up and quick resolution! I will never, EVER, let a retailer talk me into their warranties again -- only SquareTrade for me. In fact -- this is so cool -- I sold two of my old iPads (when I purchased new ones) and went online with SquareTrade, cancelled the remainder of the contract and within 3 days had a nice refund in my Paypal account! No hassle, no questions! I tried to cancel a warranty I had been pressured into buying from another online retailer and it was "sorry for your luck lady" so the fact that SquareTrade treats their customers so well and does business like it should be done goes a very long way for me! A great tip: When you purchase your item and then purchase your SquareTrade warranty, immediately scan or fax your receipt for the time over to SquareTrade immediately. They will put in on file with your item and if you ever do have a claim, the process is even faster! I'm telling you -- do it, you will NOT be sorry you did! And no, I don't work for Square Trade. I'm just a savvy tech lover who gets tired of snake oil sales tactics and am relieved and thrilled to have found SquareTrade!
