I purchased a Dell Ultrasharp 2410 Monitor from Dell Direct. I received a confirmation, they charged my credit card and shipped the monitor. On the day of delivery, they cancelled the order and it was returned to Dell. I called Dell, and the runaround I was given was simply amazing. I had to contact customer support, they gave me a phone number to validation, who told me I needed to reorder, then they put my account on hold and nobody could help me. I repeatedly tried to get information and was unable to speak to anybody who knew anything. Finally the Tuesday after the order was cancelled I received a phone call from Dell about the order. They were astonished when I told them I was cancelling the order and wanted my money back. In the course of 5 days I went from respect for Dell to complete disdain.
I will never again recommend Dell to a friend or enemy. The customer service is completely bad and not worth the trouble. Buy from anybody else but them.
