I chose EMTC because I needed to get a new battery for my LG cell phone quickly. On their website, they advertise that orders within California arrive within 1 or 2 days. I live in California, so I went for it. In fact, I ordered the battery on a Tuesday night (12/20/11...just a few days before Christmas). I was delighted to get an email early Wednesday morning that the battery had already shipped by 8:45 a.m.! Not only shipped, but shipped first class! Of course, since Postal Service delays are the norm for this pre-Christmas period, that added a day or two to what would normally have been a Thursday or Friday delivery (obviously not EMTC's fault). I've waited several days before writing this review in order to make sure that the battery functions as expected. I followed the suggestion on its sticker to let it charge for 12 hours before its initial use and it has been perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to use EMTC in the future.

I give this company top rating. I bought replacement batteries for my V-Tech cordless phone. In researching batteries on the internet, it seemed that General had an excellent price on the specific battey type that it seemed I needed; however, V-Tech was not included on the list of compatible devices on General-Battery's website. I called the contact number and left a message for Dennis (I presume that he's the owner) and asked if that was a mistake. I got a call back that same night and Dennis left a humble friendly message that, in fact, my phone should have been included on that list. The website omission was immediately corrected, I placed my order, and the batteries (brand new and sealed in their packages) arrived several days before the expected delivery date. After the standard initial charging session, they have performed flawlessly. They are less expensive and have a higher capacity rating than the original batteries. Don't hesitate to use this seller.
