I returned a box of lamp holder sockets this week that were not the item as I expected. When the sockets arrived I discovered that they were plastic. In the description on the invoice I found the small print that said that the item was 'thermoset'. I did not notice this when I ordered. The company's return process is straight forward and I was willing to take the loss for the cost of shipping as I returned them and the value of free shipping to get the items to me. I received an email today indicating that I would be credited $59.58 of my original $81.00. I spent an additional $10 to return the package via USPS. The net is over 40% of the cost. I am very upset by this high cost particularly because in looking at the website the socket is shown on a page headed as PORCELAIN SOCKETS. http://www.hardwareandtools.com/Porcelain-Lamp-Holder-Sockets/. I find no way to contact this company to make my case known so I have resorted to your reviews. I trust that the company reviews these matters and will get back to me. Thank you.
