This is the perfect example on how a company degrades as it grows, having ordered a couple of times in the past, and being amazed by the quality displayed by this company, I decided to place another order about a month ago.

After having a hard time locating the products I needed on their site, it's complicated to navigate, I placed my order and everything went fine up to the point where I never received the tracking number.

I waited a few days and on the 20th (the order was place on nov 17) I started sending message to customer service inquiring for the status of my order, I never got a single reply so I quickly proceed to open a BBB case on the 24th and decided to send messages from 3 different address and see what happens.

I finally got a reply where they apologized for the silence, and then they started calling me a liar at the BBB case, etc...

And then I received the package, to my dismay, gone are the mountain rose markings on the box that clearly identified where did you made your purchase, I received a plain and simple box as if I had made my purchase for an obscure backyard dealer.

I open the box and find me the smallest size L white sage smudges and a bag of cedar tips that looked like if it was packed in a hurry.

But I got new for ya, prices are still as high as ever, the trademark of a growing business, as the prices go up, the quality goes down.

The only thing I can rate high about this store is the prices, the have abandoned the rest of the equation, high quality products, high quality services.

It makes me sad because back then it was so good that it almost made you run to knock at their door and ask to be allowed to be part of it.

I'm overall very satisfied with this seller thus I feel the need to write this first review so it will lead other potential customers to make the right choice when looking for their wooden training supplies.

Initially I contacted them to order a suburito, I was lucky enough to find a custom one ready to be shipped, the whole payment-->shipment process was very smooth and since the item was ready there were no delays at all.

Communication was very good, I was kept pretty well informed at all times, sometimes it took a couple of days to get a reply but mostly on weekends but since this was my first transaction with them, a little anxiety from my part was normal.

They will take your custom orders too, these will take a little longer to get shipped but since I had such a good experience I won't hesitate to come back to SDK supplies when I'm ready to order a custom wooden weapon made from exotic woods.

Finding a good online supplier of quality wooden weapons, specially when made of exotic woods can be a royal pain in the butt, so I highly recommend that at least you give this one a try.

Overall it was a very satisfying experience, customer service was responsive, shipping speed was good and the quality of the rattan sticks I received was/is very good, I received a hickory stick which was not top notch but that got fixed after some lapping and oiling plus I got a good answer from customer service.

Those exotic sticks look mighty fine and I look forward to purchasing some of them in the near future.

My experience with this seller could not have been worse.
In all my years of online shopping I've never experience first handed what is like to be victim of fraud over the internet. At first I contacted he or she,goes by the name of Joy Pittman, inquiring further information about the product I was interested on, I got a warning that they were on a tight schedule and it would take about 8-12 weeks for my order to be delivered.

That was an the end of January and now it's early August and there is no sign of a delivery ever coming, or a refund to say the least, I have already filed a dispute with my card company and requested for a refund, funnily enough, after months and months of delays:

We got really behind and we apolojize for that......what we are doing now is trying to finish all orders at one time because we got a ton of orders all of a sudden and got overwhelmed.....we are currently not taking any new orders as of right now because of all the orders we have to catch up on......we are making an effort to get everyones order out at one time including yours......we sincerely apolojize for the delay as this has never happened before to us, but I guess since we handcraft each order it is taking longer with the amount of orders we have......we are looking to have every order out in the next 4 or so weeks. Do not fall in the clutches of this highly dishonest seller, if you are looking for a wooden weapon for martial arts practice look elsewhere, the cheap always comes expensive.

Update, after filling a few complaints around the net they contacted me with the pathetic excuse that they had not been able to refund me because I didn't had an account with paypal. Well, how weird, I didn't need to open an account with paypal when placing the order, they they should have received and kept in their records a receipt paypal sends to sellers to notify them of a payment.

I offered them sever options for issuing me a refund, among them a money order, they even did not have the decency to reply to that message and have since blocked my email address.

Before you purchase from this people pay attention to the site, there is no phone number stated, no full address, no nothing, do not make the same mistake I did, there are several other options around.
