3/5

Bought a Nokia phone for T-mobile prepaid to go plan. T-mobile has one of the best prepaid plans where if you put at least $100 refills into your account, you achieve a "gold reward" status, where your minutes do not expire for a year and the cost is 10 cents per minute. However, getting the status updated to "gold" is a pain - the online refill system is bugged (on purpose?) so you need to call the CSR. You can reach customer service relatively quickly, but many CSRs are brain dead - they just repeat what their "manual" says. It took me 6 total calls ( 3 of which were hang on) before the expiration date and the total number of minutes were finally adjusted with the help of 3(!) managers. If you get shot down by first manager ("everything is correct"), call again because apparently different managers have different policies.
