I placed an order on 12/6, and used a $25 gift certificate. Apparently they have a third party take the order or something like that. Anyway, my order didn't get processed until *12* days later!! They didn't apply the gift certificate either. I e-mailed one customer-service representative, who asked for my gift-certificate number. I told her I had thrown it away (it had been 12 days, so that trash was already gone). I also told her I would be disputing the charge if the certificate wasn't applied. She never replied. I had to call them up too, and I was told that the $25 credit would be applied. Guess what--it never was. So, I have disputed the charge (for $25) with American Express. Stay away from this flaky company.

I ordered a CD from Insound on 9/7. On 9/8, I received an e-mail saying that my order had shipped. However, when my package finally arrived on 9/17, the shipping date on there was actually 9/14. So, Insound didn't ship my package until 6 days after they told me they did.

I sent them an e-mail inquiring about this. They told me that my package had been returned because of insufficient postage, so they had to re-send it!!!

Three problems here:

1) They didn't put the right postage on my package.

2) They didn't inform me what had happened so that I wouldn't be left wondering why my package hadn't arrived.

3) They did absolutely nothing to make things up to me.

This company sells raw cheese and various other food products. I placed a few orders from them in the past, but never again. At first, they gave decent service, but each subsequent order seemed to get worse and worse.

What I always ordered was raw cheese. On my most recent order, the owner stopped listing how many pounds of cheese he was shipping me. In other words, he was just figuring out the total charge himself and not itemizing anything. Well, I added up the weights on the packages of cheese myself and found out that he had made 2 mistakes on my order, overcharging me by $30!!! And I *don't* think this was an accident--I believe he was hoping I wouldn't ever find out. Anyway, there were several other problems with my order as well, and I had to call long-distance several times to get them straightened out. As a result of his incompetence, my order ended up arriving 10 days late! When I asked him if he would do something for me on my next order to make up for the mishaps, he never got back with me, so his answer was a big fat "NO."

This company is dishonest, rude, and undependable--please shop elsewhere.

West Wind Farms is completely unreliable. The first time I ever tried to contact them, all I ever got was an answering machine. So I decided to leave a message. They didn't get back with me until *10* days later. I should've written them off then, but I was naive.

When I eventually placed an order, they told me that it would ship on a certain date. Well, that date passed and the order never arrived, so I tried to found out why. I tried to contact them for several days in a row and NEVER got a response from them. Finally, almost a week later, they left a message for me and told me they had been out of town. They also said they were sorry and would try to call again later, which they never did. They are completely irresponsible and treat their customers as if they don't matter. Stay away from them, and your life will be better for it.

Peaceful Pastures is greedy, dishonest, and unreliable. Here's my experience:

I ordered about $115 worth of raw dairy products from them. My order never arrived, because it was apparently damaged by FedEx and then discarded. It took Peaceful Pastures several days before they even bothered to let me know about this. They ended up filing a claim, and FedEx eventually sent them back a check for $106 to cover the damage ($9 of the order wasn't covered). Anyway, instead of passing the $106 directly on to me, Peaceful Pastures simply told me (they did not ask me) that they would use this refund as a credit on my NEXT order. I was shocked. What made them think that I would even want to order from them again?

Because they were trying to hold on to the money they owed me, I filed a dispute with my credit card company, American Express. Once Peaceful Pastures got wind of the dispute, they asked me to cancel it. They told me that they had asked me if it was OK to give me a credit on my next order instead of sending me a refund, which was a LIE. I responded to them and included a copy of their previous e-mail in which they had TOLD me (they did not ASK me) that a credit would be placed on my next order. I also told them that I would cancel the dispute if they simply refunded me the entire price I had paid. Not only did they not apologize or try to make things right--they never even responded! So, I continued with my dispute.

To make a long story short, I won the dispute. American Express told me that Peaceful Pastures didn't even bother to respond to them (exactly the same way they treated me!). So, I got all my money back!

It's particularly ironic that the owners of Peaceful Pastures like to display how religious they are. For instance, on the calendar on their Web site, they list their weekly Bible studies, and they also have a Bible verse on their invoices. Well, don't be fooled--they certainly don't practice what they preach with their customers. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine also had a bad experience with Peaceful Pastures. She said they were extremely rude when she asked them to correct a mistake they had made (overcharging her credit card), and she refuses to ever order from them again.

Please stay clear of this company. All they seem to care about is money, and they treat their customers like dirt.

This store is totally deceptive. We ordered a beautiful $100 bouquet for our mother for Mother's Day. What arrived was something *totally* different--some flowers that you could easily buy for $10 at a grocery store. The company didn't even want to refund our full purchase price, but wanted to just give us half off instead. We ended up disputing the entire charge with American Express.

Please don't purchase from this company, because they're so deceptive. What you order may not be anything like what you actually get.
